Incredible hotel, trusted brand. Easy and thorough checkin process. The only downside is the noise that comes from the bathroom toilet throughout the night. No blackout curtains, so the day starts and ends with you. Breakfast is amazing. Overall great time spent.

Clean and service so good

Intercontinental is one of the best chain hotel in the world. It doesn’t make you feel disappointed when staying here. The hotel is located not so far from Metro line 2 at Century Avenue. It is Metro interchange station which leads to go around sightseeing in Shanghai and very convenient to go back to Pudong Airport at Longyang station by Metro line 2 or you choose Line 2 to go back as well. Great service to welcome as guest. Good room with superb view and lines of breakfast for your option. Recommend 👍

Thanks for the birthday cake and chocolates and the room upgrade to a suite was superb! Thanks to the manager and the front desk staff who made my birthday extra special. We love the service at Intercon. ❤️

Hotel is nice and has many restaurants and bars nearby. It’s close to the Bund. For the price I’ll stay here again.

Front desk staff especially Estalla are very friendly and welcoming, unlike the hotel staff from SheratonGrand Shanghai. House keeping aunties were extremely polite and friendly too. Room was nice and clean, except that air conditioning was very warm especially when the afternoon sun shines into the room. A 5 star hotel which lives to its reputation. An unusual thing about the room was the many small useless display shelves, I wonder what were their purposes. ROLF.

The room could be cleaner and amenities could be provided in a more consistent standard. Like, one day we didnt have turn down service but the other day we did etc. But the front desk attendants were all really helpful and friendly.

Not the first time in Shanghai, but it was the first time staying at the Intercontinental Pudong. The location of the hotel is super convenient. We got an unexpected upgrade and the room was spacious, comfy and clean. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to five hotel professionals: Melinda (Front Office), Diana (GSM), Fiona Wu (DOSM), Lucy (ADD Executive Chef) and Sunny (ADD Manager) for their exceptional service during our stay, and care during a food incident that my husband had at the ADD on breakfast time. The buffet restaurant service was good, but can be better for being a luxury hotel. For example, the staff should be more knowledgeable about the food offered on the buffet, the descriptions on food tags could be more specific to avoid guest having food allergies, constantly maintaining the cleanliness on buffet counters, etc. I was unlucky to meet an upset chef at the noodle station during breakfast. I had to repeat twice my order bcz I was ignored at first instance even when I politely asked the chef “Am I still on time to order?”, and she replied rudely “Ni dao di yao dian shen me?” and told me to come back later. I literally lost the appetite after this. Overall, it was a memorable stay thanks to the five heroines I mentioned above. If I had 3 wishes now: I wish to see you all next time! I wish I can get a nice bowl of wonton next time! I wish my husband can truly enjoy a luxurious breakfast on his next stay! 😊

Been to many hotels , this one is the best greeted by friendly staffs clean room best breakfast ever Sky even help us to plan a day trip, it was nice of him preparing water for us to take away as the weather was hot that day. This trip was the best experience because of intercontinental and Sky ! Highly recommended and will definitely return
