Awesome themed hotel with great service. Free Disney resort shuttle bus from hotel to Disneyland.

We stayed 3 nights as a family of 4 while we visited Shanghai Disney. The cast members and the service were incredible. Everywhere you look there was someone to greet you warmly and help you if you needed it. The room was clean and well taken care of throughout our stay. The location cannot be beat. The bus ride provided by Disney is only 3 minutes to the park. Staying at the hotel also allows you a one hour early entry which is key to riding some of the most popular rides with no wait time. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai Disney!

Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We came with another family and they helped us get interconnecting rooms even though we have already been assigned rooms with no charge. Really appreciate the service from the hotel staff.

It fun and all and of course it near the disneyland which is very convenient for us

The personal is nice and actually everyone there is nice and try to speak English , but the shuffle to Disney town all the bus driver is very very bad drivers don’t care anything maybe they hate their work

Great overall experience, especially with families. Lots of staff to play with the kids. Great breakfast and location! I would suggest to have some coin operated laundry facilities for guests to use.

We had a great experience at Toy Story. Definitely catered towards the children and our children enjoyed it all. Great option close to Disneyland

Hotel really good, prepared for kids entertainment, polite and helpful workers. The breakfast is not bad, but too expensive for the service offered. We miss a better selection of bread, ham and cheese also omelette, bacon and pancakes. In the other hand, the available food was nice and well prepared.

Disney is expensive, and a stay at toy story hotel doesn't help with that. However for my niece, sister and brother-in-law, a convenient hotel to head too after the fireworks was appreciated. Helpful staff assisting with their morning bag drop, a big plus too

The staff working at reception, luggage storage, house keeping, FnB, shuttle service and merchandising are doing a great job. I enjoyed staying at Toy Story Hotel with my mum! The negative point about the hotel is the toiletries. Disney hotel Should use containers that represent the room that the guest stayed in. The shampoo, soap dispenser and Bathform were in non Disney Theme containers. Even if the containers of the toiletries need to be sustainable ( shampoo, bathform etc are not placed in small vials ), Disney Shanghai still can customise Toy Story Containers for the toiletries. It is ok not to give to the guests as they are Hotel Assets. But the decorations, furniture etc need to be of Disney Theme.

The only reason why someone should stay here is for its proximity to Disneyland. It is most certainly NOT the #1 Upscale hotel in Shanghai. From the plastic curtains, shower curtain, lack of robes, view of the car park from the room, ordinary breakfast buffet and lack of amenities (no gym, no pool, a few child-friendly areas that have times in which no children are allowed to be in them) it was a terrible waste of money. The service was great and accommodating of our baggage with buses running from the hotel to the park. It is an overpriced, basic hotel that doesn’t include park tickets or any ticket upgrades for the people who stay there. An idea would be for patrons of the hotel being able to receive a fast pass to their park tickets to Disney, otherwise it is better to stay just outside of the park for a fraction of a price.

The price is high due to its location (acceptable), the staff is friendly (by training). However, the managements is very poor. For the 705am bus to Disney resort, the queue was very long, it defeated the purpose of staying at the hotel (for accessing the park earlier). It took 20+ minutes to get onboard (on weekdays, it might be longer over the weekends). The management team should make more buses (and queues) accessible in the morning peak hours. The hotel opens its breakfast at 630am, many families (kids) skip the breakfast in order to catch the bus. The management team decides to sell breads (40 RMB each) to those families who don't have time to take the breakfast), leaving us very bad impressions. Given less than 30 minutes to take the breakfast (if you are the first one to go inside the hotel and take the first bus), the cost for kids is over priced. Plus: parking is free for guests.

The cast member at the front desk is very warm and helpful. The cast members at the restaurant (buffet dinner) are warm welcoming and provide good service. The foods are delicious but not much choice of Western Coursin. We also can take photos with Disney Characters such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Bopeep. Expecting can swimming, however there is no swimming pool yet. Luckily, my room has a Park view which I can watch fireworks in the evening. Also, I can enjoy bathing too.
