I stayed in the Portma Ritz Carlton for 2 nights just after Christmas. The service was excellent, all of the staff went above and beyond to help me. They greeted me by name, remembered my coffee and drink orders and went to great lengths to help me. The staff in the club lounge were amazing, Lisa, Tina, Sunny, Vincent and others. The floor attendant Cici was also so helpful. The location is great, many restaurants around and short walk to The Kerry Center and Jingan temple. definitely recommend!

Very good hotel with access to the excellent gym but terrible breakfast... According to the receptionist ”It's because of the covid situation” - I think it's excuse only. Take a look on the photo what breakfast you can get for 50rmb :/

The hotel appears to be relatively new and so everything was pretty nice and clean. Good design. Location is good if you need to be close to train station, otherwise a bit out of the way.

Everything was perfect except, upon arrival to our room there was a notice on the table which said the swimming pool would be under maintenance the following day for one week. If you want a hotel with a swimming pool, always call the hotel first to confirm the pool is open since there will be no notice via the trip app before you book or after you book.

We would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is very stylish and the food is always fresh. Not to mention the comfortable beds. The service was amazing especially from Lyren who works at the front desk. He was very professional, easy goingand always shows her smile. We had such awonderful experience staying here.And also will come back next time!
