1. The front desk lady provided excellent service overall, responding quickly with a smile. 2. When I returned to the hotel after work in the evening, I asked a male staff member if they had the welcome craft beer mentioned on the app. He just kept repeating, ”It's gone, the craft beer changed owners.” It wasn't until I asked what they *did* have that he finally replied, ”We have juice, do you want some?” Then I waited for him to get the juice for so long that other guests had already checked in and he still hadn't returned... Was he out picking mangoes or something? (Let's all do our part to avoid being like toothpaste squeezers). As for the juice, since it was complimentary, I won't comment much on it. 3. The room design is appealing, and the toiletries are commendable. The bedside light switch design is very well thought out; it's not like some places where you have to play Minesweeper to turn off all the lights. The electric curtains also do an excellent job of blocking out light, which is great. 4. I do have a few issues: The door won't close properly unless you push/pull it with force. The first time I left and came back, I realized I hadn't closed it tightly, which gave me quite a fright. There were two pairs of earplugs by the bed, and I wondered why a hotel would provide them. Then, around 1 AM, I heard guests in other rooms loudly laughing, opening and closing doors (compounded by the noise debuff of the doors not closing without force...). I suddenly understood the purpose of the earplugs. I quickly put them in and managed to get a decent night's sleep. The earplugs were quite effective, actually. 5. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and enthusiastic, which I appreciate.

I originally booked for two days, but ended up staying a few extra days due to a typhoon. Everyone was very professional, proactively helpful, and thoughtful, which was very comforting. The room was extremely clean, and the laundry room was free to use. In short, the hotel is very well managed, truly embodying the Atour atmosphere. And the breakfast? It couldn't be better! It's a buffet, and the dishes are really flavorful; I looked forward to breakfast every day. The staff were also very kind to us. Don't believe me? Go try it for yourself! ;) The hotel also uses little robots to deliver takeout directly to your door. If I had to mention something that could be improved, it would be the in-room amenities. The TV screen can only connect to Apple products, which was a shame since my laptop isn't an Apple product, so I couldn't connect it. TT TT Thanks to the team for taking care of us this time, especially the staff member who helped us resolve an issue earlier. On check-out day, it was incredibly hot. While we were waiting for our Didi, the front desk even gave us some cooling patches! Thanks a lot! ~ ^_^ ~

During my trip to China, I stayed at the same brand of hotel in Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. My biggest takeaway is that this hotel brand never disappoints. While the overall space at the Atour Hotel Shanghai Jing'an might be a bit more compact than its counterparts in other cities, the comfort level is still top-notch. The attention to detail and the overall experience put me at ease. The location, in particular, is incredibly convenient, with excellent transportation links. Getting to Shanghai Railway Station or other parts of Shanghai was a breeze. For me, the most important thing about a hotel isn't just how luxurious it is, but rather the consistent feeling of stability, comfort, and peace of mind it provides with each stay. This is my biggest impression after staying at several Atour hotels consecutively – the brand's quality and service are consistently excellent. No matter where I go, I know I won't be let down. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and that reassuring feeling of 'you can't go wrong with this choice,' the Atour Hotel Shanghai Jing'an is indeed an excellent option.

very safe place for a solo traveller. it’s a decent size, room is comfy enough. just 10 mins walk from jing an station. staffs are all very friendly. stayed 4 nights here, the only bad experience was the final night where the room was cleaned but amenities were not topped up, even the floor mat was not given. but small matter, overall experience has been great. would definitely recommend this hotel! feedback for hotel, do check the speaker as it gets annoying that it keeps on notifying me that it’s low on battery when it’s fully plugged in

Staying in this hotel on a business trip, the experience exceeded expectations. The room is spacious, the network is stable and smooth, and the living environment is quiet. The receptionist at the front desk is professional and polite, and the work is highly efficient. The location is convenient for transportation and travel. The whole is clean and comfortable, the details are in place, and the cost performance is very high. Subsequent business trips will be given priority.

My overall stay here was quite good, offering excellent value for money. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were very friendly and patient in answering all my questions, never being dismissive. The room was very clean, with no noticeable stains on the floor or in the bathroom, and the bedding felt fresh and dry, making me feel very comfortable. The room was spacious enough, not cramped at all. The air conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi all worked perfectly; the hot water came on quickly, making showers very enjoyable. Soundproofing was also decent; I didn't hear any annoying noises at night, so I slept very well. The bed was just right—not too soft, not too hard—so I didn't wake up with a sore back. The hotel's location is also convenient, making it easy to find food or catch a taxi. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so you don't have to go far. The bathroom amenities were complete, with towels and toiletries provided, which was sufficient for daily use. The hygiene details were well-maintained, and there were no unpleasant odors. The only minor point is that there's a little room for improvement in some small details, but it didn't affect the overall experience. For this price, I'm very satisfied with the facilities. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and would recommend it to friends traveling here for a reliable and worry-free stay.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy. It was recommended by my foreign colleagues for my business trip to Shanghai. The surrounding area is bustling, located in the core business district of Jing'an Temple, making it very convenient for subway travel, shopping, and sightseeing. The bedding in the room was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's rest for my business trip. I happened to be there during a typhoon with heavy rain in Shanghai, and I particularly appreciate the doorman who promptly helped with my luggage. The front desk and room service were professional and attentive. The executive lounge experience was outstanding, with excellent food. From the room window, I could enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings.

The place was really comfortable, and ordering takeout was super convenient – just leave a note, and they get it right. You need your room card to use the elevator, so make sure not to forget it! It's a good safety measure, and there are cameras in the hallways too. The room itself was very cozy, and well-equipped, which is why I extended my stay for another day, making it a three-night visit. Having a washer-dryer combo was incredibly handy. If it didn't have that, I honestly probably would have only stayed for two nights, but the laundry facility was a huge plus, and a big reason I stayed an extra day. The only drawback is that walking to the subway station can be a bit tiring. If you have the budget, a taxi is an option, but I didn't consider it at the time – most of my money was going towards food! So, I usually only went out closer to sunset when the temperature dropped a bit. It was just too hot during the day. Don't go out during the day on the 19th, Shanghai is scorching! I should have gone out later on my last night, the 19th, when I went to the Bund. My feet were so sore afterward because my itinerary was quite hectic, which also led me to extend my stay for another day. Be careful of the steps near the bed; you could easily trip, but don't worry, I never did. You get used to it after a day. Also, watch out for the lamp above the bed when you get up; you might bump your head. I was originally with my family, but they had to go back to work that night, so I stayed by myself. There are tons of takeout options nearby, and lots of delicious food. However, takeout generally takes about half an hour to arrive, which was quite noticeable. I doubt I'll be back in Shanghai for a second time anytime soon, probably several years from now, as I plan to explore other cities for my next trips. I didn't use the hotel's shampoo or shower gel, but I saw other reviews saying they were pretty good. As for cleaning, the staff (who finish at 6 PM) usually knock on your door around their shift end to ask if you want your room cleaned. If you're not there, they'll go in themselves, tidy up, and replace disposable items and towels. If you're heading out, just hang the 'Please clean my room' sign on the outside doorknob. When you return, your room will likely have been cleaned.

Location is very close to Taikoo Hui mall in west nanjing road metro. That’s the mall with huge LV ship as the facade. But mind you, as west nanjing road station has 3 lines and not connected to each other, the closest exit would the exit 8 of line 13. The hotel entrance looks really tiny from the outside with a small reception room. The hotel rooms will be on the third floor. Check in was fast and efficient and all of the staffs were friendly and provide good service. Our family room was ok even it was quite cramped. It has separate shower and toilet. Maybe a renovation was needed to make the room more modern and clean. Overall it was a good stay, decent price for Shanghai’s standard and its location

It's quite clean and tidy, with well-equipped Wi-Fi TV and other equipment, and the bed is quite comfortable. It's a pity that the shower head in the bathroom leaked, so I didn't dare to take a shower. It's also close to the subway station and there is wind noise. It's not particularly quiet, but the price is decent, so it's okay.

My friend has lived before, he recommended it, the location is good, in Jing'an Temple Yuyuan Road. Open the door, this elevator garden house feels very good, the retro decoration is full of style, I think the landlord sister still took care of it, very style, I quite like it. The room is clean and comfortable, mainly because there is a convenience store downstairs to buy coffee, there are many Japanese and Korean Western restaurants, I think it is not bad, shopping is very good, recommend it.

We were there for a concert. Although it was a bit far from the venue, there's a subway station nearby. The room was a duplex, which was great as it could comfortably sleep three people. We had a very pleasant stay.
