Nestled in the bustling Old Jing'an area, it offers a peaceful retreat just a short walk from the subway. It's perfectly situated for a city walk to Anfu Road and Wukang Mansion. The Shikumen archways, combined with minimalist industrial design, create an incredible ambiance with light and shadow, making every photo unique. Our room had comfortable high ceilings, soft bedding, and smart controls for curtains and lighting throughout. The soundproofing was excellent. Downstairs, there's a community space that combines a coffee shop and a craft brewery, perfect for some quiet alone time or a casual brunch. Every detail shows thoughtful design, from eco-friendly furnishings to handy little amenities. It's understated and unpretentious – anyone who appreciates unique and quality travel experiences will absolutely love it here.

We recently completed a wonderful 5-night stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Shanghai. If you are an international traveler looking for an incredibly convenient base with world-class hospitality, this hotel is a fantastic choice. 📍 Prime Location The hotel is centrally located and exceptionally well-connected. It is literally just a 3-minute walk from the Shanghai Railway Station, making local commuting via the metro or catching regional bullet trains completely hassle-free. 🌟 Outstanding Service (Going Above & Beyond) The front desk staff are truly exceptional and do not hesitate to go the extra mile for their guests. Because we ran into a language barrier while trying to coordinate a campus tour with a local university, the staff stepped in without hesitation and spoke to the university on our behalf to get everything sorted. We also want to give a special recognition to Ms. Wong and her colleagues. When we had trouble navigating the local food delivery apps, they kindly used their own personal apps to order food for us and allowed us to transfer the money directly to their accounts. They were also incredibly supportive with hailing local taxis and guiding us through Shanghai's public transport options every single day. 🍳 Buffet Breakfast The hotel offers a morning buffet breakfast for a very nominal charge. It has a great, decent spread that easily caters to different palates, including: Hot options (Porridge, Noodles, and freshly cooked Eggs) Western staples (Breads, Cereals, and pastries) Fresh Fruits and Salads 💡 Area for Improvement The only real critique we have is that the hotel lacks an in-house restaurant that serves lunch and dinner options. Having an all-day dining restaurant on-site would make the stay absolutely perfect. That being said, the incredible warmth of the staff more than made up for it. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again for our next trip to Shanghai!

Stayed 10nights here with my family mixed with toddlers and senior citizens. We were all very satisfied and in fact impressed by their service, the friendliness and helpfulness of staffs in the hotel. They were patient with our multiple requests, had baby amenities and handled our taobao parcels well. Even helped me call one delivery person which failed to contact me several times and ensured I get my parcel successfully. My aunt forgot to return hotel cards and they did not charge me. How nice of them. Will definitely come back to this hotel next time. Location great for food and didi too

Choosing this hotel for our trip was absolutely the right decision! The location is fantastic, with all the popular influencer spots nearby, making it super convenient to explore and check things off our list without wasting time traveling. The room hygiene was impeccable; every corner was spotless and tidy, which made our stay feel very safe and comfortable. The check-in process was incredibly heartwarming; I had a lot of luggage and was struggling, but the front desk staff immediately offered to help carry my bags and kindly guided me, providing very gentle and attentive service. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, leaving us fully satisfied. The biggest surprise was the free late-night snacks offered by the hotel, which was a lifesaver when we got hungry at night! Plus, they have smart robots delivering food to your room, which was both time-saving and fun. Overall, the experience was perfect: clean, thoughtful, and convenient. This hotel is really great for family trips, and we'll definitely book it again for our next vacation!

This hotel, which has been operating for many years, was once considered a boutique establishment. I finally decided to fulfill my long-standing desire to stay here, as I wasn't driving this time. The room was quite spacious, and you could tell from the architecture and the original decor that a lot of thought went into it back in the day. To be honest, my stay left me a bit concerned. The original design has a high step between the bed and living room areas, and there's another step in the living room itself. With the dim, greenish lighting, I was constantly worried about tripping while moving around. The light switches, though innovative for their time, are now hard to figure out due to age and lack of instructions. The shower design, with its seating area, was quite thoughtful for its era. However, the shower door has no sealing strip to keep water in, and the showerhead is just mounted on a fixed holder that doesn't swivel. You literally have to hold the showerhead while showering, which was quite unexpected. The toilet seat seems to be a later replacement, and it's completely mismatched and ill-fitting. 😓😓😓 What truly baffled me was that the 'clean' towels provided on the second day had visible stains, as shown in the picture. While I'm sure they were disinfected, offering such towels to guests is simply unacceptable. It's especially frustrating that in an age where most hotels offer late check-out, I received a call reminding me about check-out just half an hour beforehand, with the excuse that many guests were checking in that day. As someone who stays in hotels over 200 days a year, I can tell you that's no excuse; it reflects a shortage of housekeeping staff and disorganized management. I will not be staying at this hotel again! As a Trip.com Black Diamond member, I stand by my review.

The room wasn't huge, but it was just right for one person. The bathroom was clean, though a couple of the pillows were a bit yellowed. The location is quite convenient, not far from Metro Station Exit 3 at Shanghai Railway Station, so you don't have to walk much. The breakfast was good and had everything you'd expect. I noticed a lot of Southeast Asian guests staying here.

The location is excellent, with both the subway and business district within walking distance. The room is spacious, and there are many lifeguards at the pool, making it safe for kids to swim. The check-in experience was great, and the executive lounge service was very attentive. Transportation is also very convenient. The view from the Kunlun Window is fantastic; on a clear day, you can see very far.

I was looking for a hotel to relax in during Shanghai's recent monsoon season, and I heard that some UrCove hotels offer a 'deep sleep' bed experience. I chose the Jing'an location since it's also close to Jing'an Temple – two birds with one stone! I requested a late check-out in advance, and the staff at check-in were very welcoming, especially Vivi. Her gentle and soft-spoken service made me feel right at home. This time, I booked an executive room, which was 30 square meters. I really liked the layout; the floor-to-ceiling windows faced the street, and being on the 10th floor, the view was great. The deep sleep experience was excellent and quite novel. I also got a free coffee when I registered as a member during check-in; the hot latte was really good – it was Peet's Coffee, which was a nice touch! I'll definitely stay here again.

Very convenient downtown location. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay. The service attitude was excellent! Check-in was polite and the service was thoughtful. They were very helpful and understanding when answering our questions about our stay. Facilities are great, very tranquil. The lobby has a woody scent. The room interior was clean, and the lighting was bright enough. Check-out service was also excellent. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
