This accommodation is in a very nice area. There are many cafés and vintage stores within walking distance, and it’s well connected to public transportation. I was able to reach two different metro stations in less than 10 minutes on foot. I asked the owner for an early check-in, and he gave me a room that was already ready. Upon arrival, a lady at the hostel welcomes you, and you need to add the owner on WeChat to complete the check-in process. My room had a small private balcony and was very spacious and clean. The neighborhood is quiet at night, and all the windows have blackout curtains. I would recommend staying here.

I had a really pleasant stay here and would definitely stay again on my next trip to Shanghai. I really liked the location. The area is quiet and not too crowded, but still very convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby. There’s a McDonald’s within walking distance, and Luckin Coffee is also nearby. Food and coffee delivery was very easy and convenient. The staff were very helpful. Some of them speak English, and even those who don’t were always willing to help. A special thanks to G, who was very helpful during check-in. I arrived very early at around 7:30 AM, and they allowed me to check in early as soon as a room became available at around 9:30 AM, which I really appreciated. The room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. There is a refrigerator, microwave and washing machine, and you can ask housekeeping for laundry detergent. There is also a cooktop, although no cookware or kitchen utensils are provided, which wasn’t a problem for me since food delivery is so convenient. The curtains can be controlled by voice using “Xiaole,” although the voice control is mainly for opening and closing the curtains. The toilet is automatic, and the air conditioning can be adjusted yourself. Another big plus for me was that I didn’t smell any cigarette smoke at all, either inside my room or in the hallway. Housekeeping came every day and kept the room clean, replenishing bottled water, tea and amenities regularly. Overall, I was very happy with my stay. It was peaceful, comfortable and convenient, and the facilities in the room made it especially good for a longer stay. I would happily stay here again.

Location is very close to Taikoo Hui mall in west nanjing road metro. That’s the mall with huge LV ship as the facade. But mind you, as west nanjing road station has 3 lines and not connected to each other, the closest exit would the exit 8 of line 13. The hotel entrance looks really tiny from the outside with a small reception room. The hotel rooms will be on the third floor. Check in was fast and efficient and all of the staffs were friendly and provide good service. Our family room was ok even it was quite cramped. It has separate shower and toilet. Maybe a renovation was needed to make the room more modern and clean. Overall it was a good stay, decent price for Shanghai’s standard and its location

Being single and living outside, I can make do with food and accommodation, but it is unacceptable if the basic hygiene of the accommodation cannot be guaranteed. The toilet smells musty, the slippers in the room are extremely dirty and broken, the air conditioner is extremely dirty and musty, the TV is so dusty that the remote control cannot be touched by hand. I will definitely not patronize this store again

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi with fast speeds and a stable signal. The rooms are clean, the bedding is excellent, and the sleep quality is good. The hotel room is spacious and bright. The hotel has an elevator. It is very convenient. There are many restaurants downstairs. It is very convenient to eat. You can get a car when you go out. It is also very convenient.

The room was a bit small, but the bedding was clean, which was nice. The stairs are a bit steep, so be careful when going up. The building has a very vintage decor, which gives it a lot of charm. Dining and transportation nearby are quite convenient. For Shanghai, the 'Magic City,' this price is definitely worth it!
