It makes you feel particularly secure and warm when you're away from home. **Beautiful Environment, A Feast for the Eyes:** Interpreting the second photo (those artificial water lilies floating on the grid) – they are very beautiful! This is one of the hotel's interior landscape decorations. Peeking at such small details, all done with such style, and the beautiful and quiet environment, speaks volumes. **Complete Facilities, Enjoy Extended Stays:** The hotel's breakfast is very generous. For those who need to get up early and travel around, a delicious breakfast is incredibly important. Staying at the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland (Shimao Quarry Hotel) felt like entering a secret world at the Earth's core. Built into the cliff face, the rooms' viewing balconies directly overlook the dramatic cliff waterfall. The underwater-themed rooms, like an undersea world, showcase truly astonishing design ingenuity. The service was meticulous and thoughtful, the facilities modern and complete, and the hygiene impeccable. Their travel photography service was professional and attentive; the photographers captured every wonderful moment, and the resulting pictures were exquisite, creating precious memories for our family trip. Whether you're on a family vacation or a romantic getaway, this place delivers an immersive experience that exceeds all expectations. Absolutely five-star recommended!

They were able to get me checked in with a picture of my passport and another ID after I lost my passport the day I was supposed to fly home. Also clean, in an international mall, reasonable walking distance to the line 9 metro (not SUPER close but definitely doable.) The room had both a bathtub and a shower.

Jerry, the butler, was very responsive. Since we were traveling with a baby, issues like a baby gate were handled perfectly, and we even got a late check-out. The front desk also communicated room changes in advance and upgraded our room. There were no sharp corners in the room, and it was spacious, so the baby had a great time crawling around. The hotel has a dedicated play area for babies, making it very baby-friendly. The service awareness of the restaurant staff and housekeeping could be improved. It would be even better if the room had items for young babies, like a bottle warmer.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was a major advantage, with several shopping malls nearby, making it convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Although the outdoor swimming pool was unfortunately closed during my stay, the spa area was clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty. I would especially like to recognize Jayden, who was incredibly fast, efficient, and professional. I was genuinely impressed by how quickly he handled every request and resolved any issues that came up. The hotel is somewhat far from both Shanghai city center and the airport, but if you have business or activities in this area, the location is excellent and very convenient. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, and I would gladly return in the future.

The bedding was fluffy and soft, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable – I fell asleep almost instantly. The room even came with a small tea set, which was lovely for relaxing with a cup of tea after a long day of work. The TV supported screen mirroring, making it great for both leisure and work. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, a smart heated toilet, and stable, ample hot water – truly thought out with great attention to detail. The amenities were very practical. On the second floor, there are self-service washing machines and dryers, so you can easily do laundry and dry your clothes. There's also a free gym for workouts. Ample parking within the courtyard means no stress for those driving. They offer a wide variety of room types, including king rooms, executive view rooms, and suites, so even frequent business travelers won't get bored. The hotel is conveniently located near a university town, making dining and shopping easy. It's quiet and not noisy, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious, and the overall service was thoughtful and attentive. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Songjiang. Highly recommended!

This hotel is perfect for visiting Thames Town; you can easily walk to Zhongshuge Bookstore and the lakeside. The room was clean and odor-free, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the front desk was responsive, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's incredibly convenient to dine directly at the hotel after exploring the Guangfulin relics without having to travel further. The evening light-up ceremony is brief but incredibly ceremonial. The entire performance lasts about five to ten minutes and is exquisitely choreographed. After the lighting, staff meticulously explain the architectural history of the golden nanmu ancient lobby and deconstruct the ancient house's construction techniques, offering an immersive experience of ancient architectural culture. Adults can gain historical knowledge. The hotel also fully caters to families with children, offering a wide range of facilities. There's an indoor heated splash pool equipped with slides, swings, and water jets, as well as both indoor and outdoor children's playgrounds where kids can burn off energy and play to their heart's content. While adults immerse themselves in the ancient architecture and enjoy a relaxed vacation, children also have their dedicated play spaces, ensuring everyone in the family has a great time. The room was spacious, and breakfast was good. The location is convenient, only ten minutes from Hongqiao Railway Station. It would be even better if they offered a shuttle service, like hotels in Guangzhou, because getting a taxi can be a hassle.
