Switching to breaststroke, the kicking and pulling stretched my core and limbs, my heart and lungs rising and falling rhythmically. Sweat dissipated with the water, washing away all my accumulated weariness. After my swim, I moved to ”Xiji Gangjiu” to try some Cantonese dim sum. Each dish was a delight. Garlic oysters are nourishing and rich in protein, while spring onion chicken replenishes vital energy. Fresh shrimp and coriander dumplings are light and appetizing. Beef balls with choi sum provide excellent protein and dietary fiber, and the two-tone water chestnut cake is delightfully sweet and refreshing. The combination of seafood, poultry, vegetables, and grains was well-balanced—fresh, not greasy, and wonderfully wholesome. A dip in the 'azure waters' stretched my muscles and bones, a 'Cantonese feast' nourished my body, and the elegant room provided a sanctuary for my mind. With a perfect blend of activity and rest, and nourishing food, a day of leisure at Donghu Hotel brought a deep sense of peace, relaxation, and freedom.

The CitiGO Hotel Xujiahui Shanghai is absolutely the top pick for business travelers and tourists visiting Shanghai! Its location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Xujiahui commercial district. Step out and you're at Metro Lines 1, 9, and 11, and just a few minutes' walk to Grand Gateway 66 and Metro City, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is exceptional, with a stylish and textured industrial aesthetic that's a refreshing change from traditional, rigid hotels. While the rooms aren't huge, the layout is super efficient. Smart room controls, bedside charging ports, and Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures are thoughtful details. The bedding is so comfortable you'll fall asleep the moment your head hits the pillow. The public area services were the most delightful surprise: breakfast is served until 12 PM, which is a dream come true for late sleepers; and from 10 PM to 11 PM, there's free, comforting wonton soup for a late-night snack. A free gym and laundry room are also available, making stays for business trips incredibly hassle-free.

The hotel's location is pretty good, not too far from the Xujiahui business district. There's a large supermarket (Lianhua) and restaurants (Jingyan Shanghai cuisine) nearby, and a bus stop is very close. The lobby is thoughtfully decorated, with single sofas, coffee tables, and tea, as well as long seating areas with charging ports for multiple people. The guest rooms are small and minimally decorated, but the basic facilities are complete and the hygiene is good. Although the bed is narrow, the bedding is clean and odor-free, and the French window can be opened. It's a pretty good choice for a layover.

Excellent location! Although it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained. The service is exceptional. Even though it's in a busy commercial district, the windows are genuinely soundproof. It's convenient for getting everywhere, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. They also have a food delivery cabinet and robots for takeaways. Considering it was a summer weekend, the value for money was excellent. Highly recommended.

The location is convenient, within walking distance to the metro station and commercial areas. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices. We've stayed here for three consecutive weeks, which just goes to show how much we love this hotel. The Weiting Hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation and well-developed surrounding amenities. The front desk staff were professional and thoughtful, especially in arranging a late check-out for my two elderly companions, which was incredibly considerate. Guests also get complimentary self-service afternoon tea, and the waitstaff there were incredibly polite and understanding! Thumbs up to all of you! 👍 The Chaoshan restaurant across the street serves delicious and unforgettable dishes!

Facilities: The new store's blue-gray color scheme is very pleasing to the eye. The bedding is comfortable, and the pillows are extra large with a high-low concave design, which I really liked. Cleanliness: Very clean, completely satisfied. Environment: Everything is fresh flowers, the orchids are 고급 (high-class) and beautiful. Service: All staff are very enthusiastic, greeting guests. Xiao Ding was a great help to me, thank you. The front desk was also very good. Breakfast: Not many varieties, but all are exquisite. The cereal bowl with freshly fried nuts was a great touch, highly recommended! 👍🏻 The coffee to-go was also excellent, and delicious.

The location is great, with many streets to explore and plenty of restaurants and bars to relax at in the evenings. The hotel itself is a beautiful old villa. The room was quite clean, though the daily cleaning could be a bit more thorough – dust on the windowsill and a paper ball under the table stayed there throughout our stay. I wish they'd clean the shower drain of hair daily; after two days, it started to clog. Since it was late and my child was asleep, calling for service wasn't convenient, so I had to deal with it myself. Otherwise, the hygiene was decent. The service was good; toiletries were delivered promptly, and the staff was very friendly. Despite being an older building, the room had no strange odors, which was a big plus. I'd definitely recommend it and would choose to stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

Great location, right in the French concession area which in my opinion is the best neighborhood to stay in Shanghai. It’s also a 3min walking distance to the subway station. The room was clean and spacious. The design reminded me of a spaceship cabin. The staff speak good English and was always willing to help. Especially ms Yang! Very grateful to her for her help and kind attitude throughout my stay 🙏 Will definitely come back again and recommend my friends
