I was on a business trip and looking for a hotel near my chain gym. This one was newly opened and reasonably priced. The location is super convenient, right by Century Avenue metro station, with two shopping malls within 300 meters. The first night, I was on the second floor. It seemed like there was a staff walkway right outside my window. People kept passing by and talking loudly until 11:30 PM, making it hard to sleep. Then, before 5 AM, some kids were screaming in the hallway, and their parents didn't do anything. It was torture! I went downstairs to work out and asked the front desk if I could switch rooms. They moved me to the sixth floor, and that night was much better. What's great is that the room rate wasn't expensive, and the room itself was clean and tidy, with no weird smells. Plus, the AC even had a sleep mode and a timer function, which was perfect for me. Overall, this hotel is good value for money. My only regret is that I wore a white tank top to sleep on the first night, took it off and left it on the bed. I forgot to take it when I switched rooms, and when I asked the front desk later, they told me the cleaning staff hadn't seen it. 🙃

I came to Shanghai this time for both a business trip and a short getaway, and choosing this guesthouse exceeded my expectations. The room has a great view; I could enjoy the city streetscape in my free time, and after a busy day, looking at the city lights outside the window really helped ease my fatigue. The hygiene was impeccable. There was no strange smell upon entering, the floors were spotless, no dust on the tables, and the bedding was fresh and fluffy. The bathroom area was also kept clean, with no water stains or hidden corners on the vanity – it's clear the host pays great attention to detail. All sorts of daily necessities were well-prepared, with towels and toiletries provided, so I didn't need to buy anything extra. The room facilities were very practical: stable internet speed made working on documents and video calls smooth, appliances worked perfectly, the air conditioning cooled effectively, and there was ample storage space for luggage and clothes. The surrounding area is very convenient. There are supermarkets and restaurants downstairs, making dining and shopping easy. It's not far from the subway station, which saved me time and effort whether I was going to work or visiting Shanghai attractions. The host provided thoughtful service, giving detailed instructions about access and travel tips before check-in. They were very responsive to questions, communication was simple and efficient without being intrusive, offering a lot of freedom. Overall, the stay was quiet and comfortable, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. Compared to a hotel, it offered more of a relaxed, home-like feeling and was great value for money. If I come to Shanghai again, I would prioritize staying here, and I highly recommend it to friends visiting Shanghai for business or traveling solo.

This hotel was my first stop in Shanghai, and I was very satisfied overall. The hygiene was excellent, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent. The front desk service was friendly, and transportation was convenient, which was a huge relief for someone just arriving in the city. The price was reasonable, making it a great option for a temporary stay. I highly recommend it.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. Right across the street, you'll find Xiao Shanghai Pedestrian Street, and Wanda Plaza is just 500 meters behind, making it a fantastic spot for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The room was quite spacious, and the facilities were clean. The staff were friendly, proactive, and welcoming. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I was a bit nervous bringing my two kids, but they absolutely loved it! First off, the hotel is packed with Ultraman-themed everything, even the elevator announcements. The Ultraman collectible cards really hit the mark with the little ones. The room was clean and tidy, and the bunk beds were a huge hit with the kids. Even the slippers and toothbrushes were Ultraman-themed – super thoughtful! The park entrance was convenient and quick, which was a big plus. Haichang Ocean Park was so much fun, exceeding our expectations. It was even better than SeaWorld San Diego! The orca, beluga, and dolphin shows were all spectacular, and the Ultraman zone felt like a museum. There were plenty of food options too, and the prices were quite reasonable. I felt like visiting during the off-peak season was a fantastic experience, and I'd love to come back again.

This hotel is incredibly convenient for anyone catching an early morning flight. Its location directly above the international departures area means you can literally see international departures from your room. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and very clean. If I ever have an early flight again, I'd definitely book here. It's just so convenient – you can check in as soon as you go downstairs in the morning. Perfect!

This hotel offered excellent value for money. I was looking for a highly-rated hotel close to the station that included breakfast, and I chose this one. Despite being in a lower price range, the hospitality was excellent, and I felt very comfortable during my stay. However, there was construction going on, and noise echoed through the rooms from 7 AM until late in the evening. It might not be suitable for those who want a quiet stay. The tea with nutmeg and goji berries available at the front desk was delicious, and I drank it every day. Because the kitchen was malfunctioning, we, being vegans, couldn't eat the alternative meal they prepared, but they kindly provided us with something else, which we greatly appreciated. The photo shows the vegan meal from our first day. The female staff at the front desk were very helpful in many ways. Also, English is probably not spoken. My husband speaks Chinese, so I left everything to him.
