Firstly, i want to thank the staff Nana. She was very helpful and kind. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. They kindly helped us join the two beds together and made them very neat and comfortable. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas. We really appreciated the excellent service and hospitality throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

The hotel is well-located, right in the middle of the pedestrian street. We stayed in a standard room, but after our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, we extended our stay for another day and were moved to an upgraded room. The room was fantastic, we were probably lucky. It had two rooms: a living room with a sofa and a magnificent view of the pedestrian street. Besides a tea set, there was also a coffee machine. There was also a large, separate bathroom. It's an ideal option for a family with a child. The breakfasts are very good, with options for both children and adults. The only thing I didn't notice was an omelet station; there were fried eggs and scrambled eggs instead. But you won't go hungry; a delicious and hearty breakfast is guaranteed.

The room isn't huge, but the bathroom is quite spacious and functional. However, it's missing a retractable clothesline, which would be a useful addition. There's a small round table, and the TV wasn't used – it seemed to be disconnected from power. The door lock feels a bit flimsy, lacking an internal deadbolt. Also, the air conditioning is a central system. Even with outdoor temperatures around 25-28 degrees Celsius in the evening, setting it to 23 degrees didn't provide cooling or dehumidification. The view is good with a large window, but the screen is damaged and needs repairing. Another suggestion is to avoid putting the hairdryer in a black velvet bag; those bags shed a lot, and often I find myself having to wipe down and run the hairdryer to clean it when it comes from such packaging in many hotels. The staff were very good and responsive to guest feedback. You have to pick up food deliveries from the lobby, but that's acceptable.

The service was excellent; I arrived at the hotel in the morning, and they allowed early check-in. The location is superb, within walking distance of Yu Garden and the City God Temple, and also walkable to the Bund and Nanjing Road. Yu Garden is less than a 10-minute walk away. Nearby, at Gangcheng Mingdu, you can find Haidilao hot pot and mala tang. There's also a convenience store just over the overpass. When I returned to the hotel in the evening, there was supper available. The self-service laundry was very convenient, and the lobby offered free herbal tea and hot tea. A great bonus was the shuttle service to Yu Garden, the Bund, Xintiandi, and Yunnan Road Food Street.

We have booked more nights initially, but our plan was disrupted by the typhoon unfortunately. Kudos to hotel to be willing to accommodate to our booking twice. Room is too dim for my liking, but housekeeping staff is helpful to my request. Convenient location that our favourite 莱莱小笼包 and 双喜甜品 is just a corner away. You just need to head down n the whole shopping street is right in front

1. **Regarding the hardware:** The room itself is nice – clean, with new facilities, and in a great location close to the subway. However, because the location is so prime, space is at a premium, so the room size is limited. The TV is positioned in a way that takes up too much space, leaving almost no room between the bed and the TV, making it easy to bump into. 2. **Regarding the service:** The breakfast was good, and both the front desk and room service were excellent. 3. **Minor issues:** I suggest a thorough check of the entire building's air conditioning system. We were informed that there's central air conditioning and were advised not to use the in-room AC for energy saving and environmental protection. However, if you don't turn on the in-room AC, you'll be sweating profusely within minutes – it was 38 degrees outside and 30 degrees inside the room. But if you do turn on the AC, it gets a bit too cold. It's quite a dilemma. Also, the ventilation fan is a bit noisy. So, if you turn on the AC at night, it's cold; if you turn on the fan for ventilation, it's loud. If you don't turn anything on, it's too hot to sleep. I've stayed in other five-star hotels before where the room remained cool even with the AC off. I recommend addressing these issues.

This is a wonderfully located downtown hotel. The architecture is unique, retaining elements from the Republic of China era. It's quiet, yet very close to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, both within walking distance. The surrounding area features old Shanghai alleys, offering a blend of artistic charm and local life. Hygiene: Clean and well-maintained. Facilities: All the essentials are there, though the room was a bit small. Environment: The only downside is that parking isn't free, costing 80 per day. Service: Attentive and warm.

A great experience! The room was spacious enough to accommodate our family of six. The decor was innovative, and it was fully equipped with daily necessities like a washing machine, refrigerator, kitchenware, and even condiments. It's also very close to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Highly recommended!

The service at this hotel is truly top-notch! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, not only assisting with receiving packages but also kindly storing our luggage, which really eased our travel burden. The laundry service deserves special mention. After washing clothes upstairs, all you need to do is leave a note for the front desk, and the staff will dry them for you and deliver them to your room. It's incredibly thoughtful and considerate! The room itself was very clean and tidy, and the location is excellent, making getting around super convenient. Overall, the stay was fantastic, highly recommended!

Our stay here was incredibly enjoyable, far exceeding my expectations! From the location and facilities to the quality of service, everything left a deep impression on me. 📍 Location: The hotel's location is impeccable. It's incredibly convenient for getting around. We were only a 20-minute walk from the scenic spots, and there were plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which solved our dining needs. 🏨 Room Facilities: We stayed in a family room, which was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with a modern and cozy decor. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the hot water came quickly, washing away the day's fatigue. The room's soundproofing was particularly noteworthy, making it very quiet at night. The free Wi-Fi was fast, suitable for both work and entertainment. 💁 Service Quality: From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt the meticulous attention to service. The front desk staff were efficient and enthusiastic during check-in, and even proactively upgraded our room type. They also provided detailed information about the hotel's facilities and the surrounding area. Housekeeping was prompt; extra items we requested were delivered quickly.

Very clean and modern hotel. Unfortunately the network connection is not good for rooms that are window-less. This means it’s difficult to connect to your eSIM telco. But their hotel wifi is quite good. It won’t be a problem if you are a foreigner and have VPN. Location is not in the busy touristy area but good neighbourhood with a convenient store downstairs. There is no robot to send your food up but the staff will help.

The hotel is super convenient, visible right from the subway exit, and there's a Lawson nearby. However, food delivery can only be left at the front desk as the elevators don't go up. There's no phone in the room to call the front desk, so I had to go downstairs myself to get a chair. Other facilities are decent. The price would be a bit steep if it weren't for the excellent location next to the subway.

The apartment matched the photos exactly – bright and spacious with 3 proper bedrooms, a dining-living room, and a kitchen. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable, and the bedding was clean and nice. There were 2 bathrooms with smart toilets; one had a shower and the other a bathtub. We stayed in March, and it was a bit chilly near the windows, but the air conditioning system worked well for heating, so we were warm. One downside was the lack of terrycloth towels. The host provided 6 disposable towels (as shown in the photo). It was difficult for a woman to wash her hair and dry it with these, and they were too small for an adult man to dry off properly. We stayed for a week and ended up having to buy regular towels. Another unpleasant surprise was the lack of dishes: plates, cups, and spoons. All that was available was 1 large frying pan, 1 large pot, 1 knife, 1 ladle, and 6 glass cups. When we asked, the host brought an extra pot, another knife, and a cutting board the same day. However, he suggested we buy disposable plates. So, we immediately went to the store to buy disposable plates, chopsticks, cups for hot tea, and at least one spoon. Perhaps guests usually don't cook and order takeout instead, but we specifically chose an apartment with a kitchen so we could prepare our own meals. The apartment's location is excellent. It's about a 5-minute walk to Luban Road Metro Station, and there's a supermarket right across the street. We traveled to attractions by taxi or metro, and everything was close by, about 10-15 minutes away. The courtyard area was well-maintained and quiet.

An absolutely fantastic stay! The hostel was spotless and well-maintained, with modern decor. The staff were incredibly welcoming and patient, paying attention to every detail. What truly touched me was how they proactively helped me retrieve and ship a pair of shoes I'd left behind – they're super dependable. I genuinely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Shanghai. It's only a few hundred meters from the Bund and just dozens of meters from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and sightseeing. Highly, highly recommend!

First, the good points: The washing machine and dryer were super convenient, allowing us to wash our clothes during our trip – everything felt clean and tidy! It rained the day we arrived, so we were stuck inside, but the kids had a blast playing house on both floors. It's about a six-minute walk to the metro station, which is decent. The Bund is just a ten-minute walk away, perfect for admiring the historic architecture and the Oriental Pearl Tower, and experiencing the two different worlds along the Huangpu River. If you turn left out of the hotel and walk one block, you'll find a breakfast spot selling buns, porridge, and eggs at market prices. Now for the downsides: Don't expect much in the way of room service or friendly smiles from the staff.

The room was reasonably clean, and the price matched the facilities. It's conveniently located near the subway station, which is surrounded by residential areas with plenty of restaurants. Xiao Yang's pan-fried dumplings were quite good; five-star recommendation.
