Shanghai Minhang District Hotels

The experience was good. The room was neat and clean. It was convenient to travel. It exceeded expectations. Especially the guy on the 22nd. He was serious and responsible. He happily communicated and solved any minor problems he encountered. I will go to Jiaotong University's designated hotel in the future.

I booked this purely because it's close to the train station. I was only staying overnight on the way back to the city I do live in. But the room was great weirdly high tech, but with fantastic stay for one night. Actually, if I was going to Shanghai and wanted to be in that region of Shanghai, I would probably stay there again.

The hotel is a bit old I guess. It has really old furniture. The room smelled a little bit when I entered. And the shower head was broken. These are the bad things. The good things is that it's 20yuan away from shanghai South railway station by DIDI (uber). All in all I'd give it 3 stars MAXIMUM. I've stayed in better hotels at the same price range.

I chose this hotel because it was close to Hongqiao airport and Hongqiao station (subway too). The subway station is in walking distance, about 10 ~ 15 minutes on foot. The hotel looks so new and everyting was clean. Breakfast is, I personally think, just good enough. Not bad. Actually, it was not so superior to other 5 star hotels. I guess, there are a lot of 4 star hotels in Shanghai which provide better breakfast buffet.

Very good customer service! The location is a little remote but I expected it looking at the map. The room we stayed was good but had no window to outside which made it a little claustrophobic. Breakfast and restaurant on site were really good! Only real thing that was disappointing is having to pay for parking and the entrance from the parking area to the foyer that has a flight of stairs and a very heavy door that doesn’t stay open, which is not very convenient for suitcases, baby prams and disable people.

I stayed in this hotel just because of its proximity to Hongqiao Railway Station and my stay was brief. However the room was immaculate and the whole hotel environment was very clean and vibrant. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I’m very happy with my choice.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the Hongqiao transport hub. There is a wonderful choice of eateries on a food street just across the road and the breakfast at the Mercure is also copious and delicious. Excellent service, very friendly staff who do everything to provide a pleasant environment for their guests. I am familiar with the Mercure chain and I would not hesitate to give this top class hotel a five star recommendation in all categories.

When I arrived, the front desk upgraded me to a business suite and provided breakfast. The room was very large, with two bathrooms. It was clean and tidy. The bedding was very comfortable. The staff was very nice and considerate. It was a great value.
