Best Pet friendly Hotels in Shanghai

I had the pleasure of staying at The Langham, Shanghai 新天地 on March 26th, anticipating a comfortable and enjoyable experience. However, upon arriving at my assigned room, I was dismayed to discover that it had not been cleaned. This left me feeling disappointed and inconvenienced. The housekeeping staff on the floor immediately apologized for the oversight and assured me that they would notify the front desk. However, I was still dissatisfied with the situation and decided to proceed to the lobby to speak with a manager. Upon reaching the lobby, I was greeted by the warm and attentive Manager. After understanding the situation, The Lobby Manager did not attempt to deflect blame but instead offered his sincere apologies and promptly arranged for me to be transferred to a new room. To my further delight, The Manager personally escorted me to the new room and patiently introduced me to the hotel's facilities and services. In the newly assigned room, I was met with a sense of order and cleanliness. The room was tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and exuded a cozy ambiance. I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's cleanliness standards and the attention to detail. While the initial hiccup with the uncleaned room was disappointing, the hotel's swift and courteous response transformed my overall experience into a positive one. The Manager genuine concern and proactive service made me feel truly valued as a guest, leaving a lasting positive impression of The Langham brand.

Great location, within walking distance to bus and metro station. Room was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with a washing machine/dryer, stove, kettle, cutleries, and utensils. Breakfast spread was simple and nice. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay in the hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful, Amanda in the front desk was really nice and helped us with everything. They gave us an extra coupon to use in the SPA which we also recommend. Overall it was great, will go back again!

Kia ora, we are a couple from NZ. We stayed for one night only before going to the airport. We wished we stayed here longer as it was so dreamy and peaceful. Check in was easy and the girls were very helpful. Room was AMAZING and was a highlight of our trip. Breakfast in the morning had western and Chinese options and was delicious. The hotel provided a shuttle to the airport and this was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this hotel. One thing to note is on Trip.com it is advertised as one name and upon arrival we found it was called “Moonloo” just an fyi when needed long to find it. Location is fantastic with access to shops and dinner options.

The front desk staff were friendly and kind. My room had a window facing a wall of the building next door, which isn't pleasant for a one-week stay but I wasn't there too often. The cleaning staff were also friendly and attentive and the room was cleaned daily. The big and soft butterscotch cat is a great addition to any hotel and the cafe out front is very popular. The setting overall is lovely. I didn't eat at the hotel but there are several cafes and restaurants nearby and the neighbourhood is great for exploring on foot or by bicycle.

I’m quite more and more confused to see only few people’s can speak English. It was not the case previously. Breakfast starts to be a Chinese breakfast only. Mist be improved and always the same ! No change, no proposal since 8 months at least. It’s a pity ! For the rest I appreciate to stay at this hotel and the level is good

This time I went out to experience the Flower Room and the King Room. The King Room is larger and feels more spacious. There are welcome snacks when you check in, which makes a very good first impression~ The housekeeper takes off his shoes when he enters the door. Although I don’t think it’s necessary, it’s really great to have this kind of heart👍 There are various snack shops and coffee shops on the street downstairs, and there are many restaurants in the shopping mall across the street. Next to Jing’an Temple is Jiuguang~ Subway entrance + multiple bus stops, it’s super convenient to go anywhere in Shanghai💕

The hotel staff has a good service attitude. I would like to praise Liu Zijuan, the assistant lobby manager, for her warm, polite and thoughtful service. She called in advance to make room requests and arrangements. The hotel is clean and hygienic with complete facilities. The breakfast is rich and is the first choice for business travelers.

Arrived at apartment and was very pleased. It was nicely set up. Location very close to metro station straight from railway station. Apartment located in 17th floor and someone came in every day to tidy up and replace towels. The location was perfect from getting in the bike and cycling down to the Bund and other great tourist areas. There are lots of good eating places near the apartment and many coffee shops. Would highly recommend.

Localization and staff are simply amazing. There is no better location to be at Shanghai. The neighborhood is amazing. We were helped in many situations by the staff, who are very kind and made lots of efforts in all ocasions. The apartment is also quite good and offer lots of amenities, including free cleaning and dry service. Just 150 meters of Jing´An Temple, very well served by metro, and just 300 meter os Jing´An Park.
