Shanghai Putuo District 4-star Hotels

We needed a place to stay for 2 nights in Shanghai so we decided to stay here. Easy to find the hotel since it is very close to a subway station. Everything was fine during our stay. Only thing is the exercise room is really only 2 machines. So if you need a place with a gym then this is not a good choice. Other than that everything was fine. Good location and shops close by.

The front lobby staff were very helpful especially with luggage storage and providing us a great room. Room was spacious very clean and no smell of smoke which is always a worry when booking a hotel. Breakfast buffet had a good enough options for Chinese and western. Thank you for the hospitality.

Good value for family travel especially the double beds and fully equipped kitchen. Hotel is a bit old and the bathroom sliding door needs a replacement. I was almost trapped in the bathroom when the sliding door was jammed. Managed to squeeze myself out from the gap. Maintenance guy was quick in responding but couldn’t fix the problem onsite. We ended up having an open bathroom with four inmates 🙁. Location wise is good, metro is next door, there are many eateries within walking distance.

The bed was big and very comfortable! The sister at the front desk is very nice! The private bath is very comfortable. It is really comfortable to bathe after watching the concert! Breakfast was also delicious. After eating, the weather was nice and I went to the door for a walk. I met the cute little black cat🐈⬛I will come again next time!

Good location, near the Shanghai Hongquio airport. though not close to the downtown but easily accessible. The neighborhood has a Starbucks and Paris Baguette for coffee and snacks. Also has grocery stores nearby. English speaking front office staff is pretty helpful and provide assistance on request. Hotel lobby provides seating area and computer terminals for internet services. Breakfast is a good mix of Chinese and western dishes with good coffee machine. Housekeeping service is very efficient and regular. Room is pretty clean, has TRESemme toiletries and serviced everyday. Two bottles of drinking water in the room and unlimited water bottles for guests in the lobby. I was even provided with complimentary soda on two occasions. I was allowed to use the hotel refrigerator to store my food items, though a refrigerator is definitely an amenity which is expected in the room in such a hotel. I was allowed late check out on payment of a nominal fee. One area of improvement is the internet service as its unstable and also very slow and sometimes stops working abruptly so cannot rely on it unless you have your own data plan. Overall good experience for a weekend stay and will definitely be here when I am back in town.

this hotel was for a quick 1 night stay and I'm glad I stayed here. The staff was so nice ans helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and it is a convenient to shops and food.

The Hema downstairs, which was still being renovated when I lived before, is now open; the Line 14, which was still under construction downstairs, is also connected, and the exit is very close to the hotel. The room is very large, and there are only a few households on each floor. It is very quiet. Since there are mostly long-term tenants, there are simple kitchen utensils, microwaves, ovens, washing machines, refrigerators, and coffee machines. The gym has basic equipment and there are few people. Downstairs is Igo Plaza, a cinema and restaurants. There are all department stores, which basically meet my needs. The only fly in the ointment is that the service life is long and the furniture decoration style is a bit old, but I don't care about these (very cautious about this point). In addition, I would like to give the hotel a small opinion. Other electrical appliances are okay. It would be perfect if the TV can be replaced with a newer model (the current estimate is 20 years ago) All in all, I will stay here again, it is more in line with my needs🤗
