Pros: 1. Good soundproofing on the 27th floor. 2. Cleanliness was not an issue. 3. A dedicated staff member brought my luggage to my door, and when I checked out, the manager proactively asked about my stay and feedback. 4. The 7th-floor gym provides wash basins, shower rooms, and hair dryers, which can still be used after check-out. Cons: 1. The front desk staff, July, had a very cold attitude, expression, and tone. It's the first time I've encountered such a sour face at a hotel. She abruptly cut me off before I even finished speaking. 2. The toilet flush was weak and lacked power, making it quite awkward for larger uses. 3. The windows couldn't be opened, making the room very damp, stuffy, and with a musty smell. Running the air conditioning didn't help. 4. The hairdryer was old, dirty, and as heavy as a small dumbbell. The most inconvenient part was the loose plug, which often disconnected from the socket while I was drying my hair. 5. Food delivery couldn't be brought upstairs; I had to go outside the hotel to the delivery locker to pick it up. 6. Several staff members were unprofessional and need more training: For example, the staff member who led me to the 7th floor didn't even know that the gym provided wash and shower facilities and even questioned me about where I heard that. And when she saw her colleague at the gym, she just stood there blankly instead of asking, so I had to carry my large suitcase in myself. / Another example: when I was checking in, a staff member standing nearby just watched someone cut in line without intervening, which was infuriating! / Also, when I told the luggage storage staff that I couldn't find my luggage tag, they didn't even ask for my room number or name. They just directly told me to choose which suitcase was mine – making me concerned about luggage security! What if my suitcase looked similar to someone else's and could be picked up so easily? Finally, I have to say that the overall experience of this stay was far from worth the price!

Facilities: Great, very complete. Though small, it has everything you need. Hygiene: Clean and hygienic, the bedding was very quiet (comfortable). Environment: Surrounded by residential buildings, with many breakfast shops downstairs. Very convenient for breakfast in the morning. Service: The front desk staff had a good attitude. Free snacks & coffee: There's free coffee and small snacks available at the front desk. The fridge, printer, and microwave can all be used for free. Highly recommend!

We were amazed with this hotel for its amazing service cleanliness and it's variety of breakfast foods. They also provide a free midnight snack for guests between 8:30 and 10 pm which was a surprise! There's a chef that cooks noodles and wonton soup for you on the spot. We didn't realise it was included in the price and it was delightful! There was one problem with tobacco smoke coming up through one of the vents and they arranged an engineer to sort that out for us immediately. We really enjoyed the experience here and look forward to staying when we're transiting through Shanghai next time.

The room's facilities are very smart, and the location is convenient, quite close to Jing'an Temple with plenty of food options nearby. My stay was fantastic, highly recommended! I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. The room had great natural light and was kept spotless; I felt very comfortable staying there. The breakfast downstairs was also very good and varied.

As a new establishment, all the amenities are fresh, clean, and hygienic. The common areas are well-maintained, and the overall environment is quiet. It offers excellent value for money with impeccable cleanliness. The subway is just a 10-minute walk away, providing smooth access to all major attractions. My travel companions were all very satisfied, and I would prioritize this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai. Highly recommended for travelers.

The hotel's location is quite far from the city center. The decor is average. My main complaint is about the staff's service attitude; overall, both their service and professionalism need improvement. First, at 9:20 AM, we went to the first floor for breakfast. A woman in a gray uniform stopped us at the restaurant entrance, telling us it was peak dining time and we had to wait to be seated because there were no empty tables inside. We offered to go in and find a table ourselves to avoid bothering the staff. The employee immediately dropped her fake smile and insisted we wait at the door. When we finally entered, we found many empty tables. Throughout our meal, staff repeatedly came over to remind us that breakfast service ended at 10 AM and urged us to hurry and get whatever we wanted to eat. Second, when checking out, a tall male staff member at the front desk was unsmiling and impatient, answering my questions with rhetorical questions. While the 800+ yuan room rate isn't high, the service attitude of some staff members is probably only worth 250 yuan. I hope the hotel strengthens its staff's ethical and professional training! In short, this is not a recommended hotel.

I specifically chose Jiting (Ji Hotel) because I had a great experience with their other branch in Shanghai before – the service was attentive and the rooms were clean. This business trip was in Lujiazui, and I saw this new branch was conveniently located nearby, so I booked it. As expected, the service and cleanliness were excellent [strong]. What's worth mentioning is the location; it's only about 10 meters from the subway exit, practically right outside the hotel. This is perfect for tired workers. The price is reasonable, and you get extreme convenience. Highly recommended!

Cons: On my first day, I was shocked to be given a room that had clearly been used. They eventually switched me to a new room, but I'm guessing it was a staff oversight? Pros: I've stayed here multiple times, and I honestly think the value for money is really good. The location is also very convenient because there's a subway station nearby.

The environment was a bit worse than I expected, but the service was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and even gave fruits and toys to children. The breakfast buffet, however, was extremely overpriced. They initially quoted 99 or 79 yuan per person, which I declined. Later, they offered an upgrade for 49 yuan for three people, but then I realized children were free anyway, so it was actually for two people. Once inside, I found the selection to be incredibly limited, especially compared to the rich breakfast offerings at the Mercure in Hangzhou.
