The location is excellent. It's located about 20 minutes from Shanghai Railway Station by taxi. There are many modern eateries and restaurents surrounding the hotel. The services at the hotel is great too. All the front desk staffs are polite and friendly. When I was done with my check-in, one of the staffs even greeted, welcome and led me all the way the lift. What an amazing feeling. The room is new, modern, neat and super clean; and it comes with a beautiful city view.

I enjoyed my stay at Amara. They staff are friendly and the lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas. I was a bit concerned about the temperature in the room, since it’s a high floor. Also, I was given a room with a conjoined wall / door so the noise level from my neighbors was a bit annoying. But mostly a great place to stay!

Good value for family travel especially the double beds and fully equipped kitchen. Hotel is a bit old and the bathroom sliding door needs a replacement. I was almost trapped in the bathroom when the sliding door was jammed. Managed to squeeze myself out from the gap. Maintenance guy was quick in responding but couldn’t fix the problem onsite. We ended up having an open bathroom with four inmates 🙁. Location wise is good, metro is next door, there are many eateries within walking distance.

We needed a place to stay for 2 nights in Shanghai so we decided to stay here. Easy to find the hotel since it is very close to a subway station. Everything was fine during our stay. Only thing is the exercise room is really only 2 machines. So if you need a place with a gym then this is not a good choice. Other than that everything was fine. Good location and shops close by.

This hotel blew me away!!! Wow! ❤️🥂. The stuff is so warm and so professional, they make all their guests feel special from the moment you enter their very aesthetically pleasing door leading to the lobby. They rushed to handle our suitcases, offered us amazing tea and sweets whilst checking us in. The interior is contemporary with warm lighting for cosy images if you love taking pictures like myself. They showed us to our rooms and opened the door and still put our suitcases in the room for us. The rooms are amazing and they treated us to tangerines and bananas and showed us how to use the room facilities. I wish I took everyone’s name including the humble guard. Angela in particular was kind enough to take pictures of me. Their buffet style breakfast was so amazing and the restaurant is big and feels so expensive. I would love to stay here again!

I stayed here a few times before the epidemic, and it was the first time I stayed after the epidemic. It still tastes the same as before. The Hema downstairs, which was still being renovated when I lived before, is now open; the Line 14, which was still under construction downstairs, is also connected, and the exit is very close to the hotel. The room is very large, and there are only a few households on each floor. It is very quiet. Since there are mostly long-term tenants, there are simple kitchen utensils, microwaves, ovens, washing machines, refrigerators, and coffee machines. The gym has basic equipment and there are few people. Downstairs is Igo Plaza, a cinema and restaurants. There are all department stores, which basically meet my needs. The only fly in the ointment is that the service life is long and the furniture decoration style is a bit old, but I don't care about these (very cautious about this point). In addition, I would like to give the hotel a small opinion. Other electrical appliances are okay. It would be perfect if the TV can be replaced with a newer model (the current estimate is 20 years ago) All in all, I will stay here again, it is more in line with my needs🤗
