I had an excellent experience and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was lovely - spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Tommy Ma handled my check-in and was incredibly friendly and hospitable. His top-notch customer service really made me feel welcome. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again during my future visits. The entire staff provided five-star service that made my trip remarkable. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for travelers looking for a fantastic place to stay.

Selected the hotel as a trip.com diamond member and was offered to be given the benefit of accessing the hotel lounge which turned out to be a disappointment as the so called happy hour had nothing much except a couple of plates of snacks and some drinks. The lounge service is pretty ordinary, staff there were kind of so bored standing round. This is a total gimmick from both the hotel and Trip.com . However, the breakfast was good with a nice range of selections and decent service. Overall, the hotel amenities are starting to look dated and tired and the pool was tiny with the surrounding facilities look also a bit shabby. The 5 star status remain to be challenged.

Smooth check in, front desk answered all the questions I had. Hotel staff and cleaners were friendly. After coming back from a long day it was a good surprise that they gifted me mousepad after seeing I had a laptop for work. Asked for late checkout due to circumstances and got that smoothly as well, lady was also very polite. I would recommend this hotel from my experience

I was astonished by the exterior when I first arrived at Ôpartment. It has a sense of history in the building, surrounded by popular spots for city walk. My family and I were greeted by a fellow young man who offered to help our struggling hands with our luggage. Walking into the hotel, we encounter the modern looks of the lobby. By the registration counter, there is a table with coffee and cups for us to take away. I really liked the organisers at the back of the registration counter that holds room keys in each box. Going up the lift to our designated floor, the elevator door opened up to a gate, one that would remind me of the olden days, of Harry Potter, even. To gain access, we simply swipe our card at the side of the gate. It seemed as pets are allowed, we saw three dogs playing around at the hallway. It doesn’t smell bad so it didn’t bother us. The hotel room is very spacious and clean. There were magazines about the hotel, television, a kitchen with plates and bowls and utensils, a comfy bed, and of course the bathroom. As it is my birthday this April, a kind sister called Vicky who works there brought me a cheese cake. It was quite surprising to come back to the room to see a cake by the table. It was sliced into three pieces, just the right size for my mum, dad and I. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. While my mother checked-out our room, I observed the notebook they left on the table to the left of the registration counter. There was a mirror in front of the notebook, and a pen beside it. It is a notebook left for guests to write and draw on. I asked the staff if I could bring it up to the top floor, a bar with pretty interior designs, to draw on the notebook. So I did. The bar was probably closed, or maybe it is more popular by night, since there were nobody there except for one man who I guess works there. There were many wine bottles and flowers, plus a balcony with great view. I drew on two pages of the notebook, taking my time as they allow me to. When I went back down to show them my proudly done work, the staffs were all excited and shocked to the point they snapped pictures and even gave me a notebook of the same design as a souvenir. At last, we had to part and say goodbye. When the car that is supposed to pick us up arrived, two or three of the staffs (noticeably all of them are pretty young) helped us with our luggage and carried it to the car for us. I’ll have to say, this is one of the most unique hotel I’ve ever been to!

I went to Shanghai on a business trip with my husband and took my kids to visit Shanghai. The Hanting Dagu store is close to the People's Square and has convenient transportation and subway. The double beds are put together, which is spacious for a family of three. The bathroom is also clean and the price/performance ratio is OK.

While it’s a little off the main attraction street, it’s a peaceful neighborhood. Hotel is clean, and staff ever so friendly. Right in front of the hotel, there are rental bicycles readily available. There’s a supermarket and fresh food market stalls just beside the hotel. I appreciate the laundry room - they have iron, steamer, hangers, washer, dryer, detergent too - brilliant really.

I booked a deluxe double room. The room I stayed in was not big. It is understandable that land is very expensive in Shanghai. The location of the hotel is very good. It is convenient to go everywhere. The lobby is not big but clean and tidy. The bathroom and bathroom in the room are okay. It is equipped with a smart toilet. The hot water has great pressure and temperature all day long. There is no peculiar smell in the bathroom, but there are some small flying insects. The air conditioning is very powerful, and the view outside the window is also good. I stayed for four nights and felt no noise. I had a good rest. The front desk staff was kind. I didn't expect that breakfast was McDonald's and there was laundry and drying services. The late check-out service was a bit reluctant, but we still delayed check-out until 2pm.

Hotel is very close to subway station (80m) from gate 1 or 3, walking distance or 1 subway station away from many iconic tourist attractions and eateries. Staffs were very friendly and attentive, we were only staying for 1 nights, but requested hotel reception to take our parcels a few days before our arrival, so we can pick up our stuffs at our last stop and they were happy to help, thank you. Hotel also provided kid slipper and toothbrush upon request, gave our girl favourite pinky colour pack. Hotel itself were transformed from old building, but noted it was newly renovated and vintage looking from outside, but modern amenities inside, also have modern automated toilets (like Japanese hotels). Will definitely recommend family or other visitors to stay here. The only minor downside is too few seats for buffet breakfast, we were asked to squeezed in with a few other people, but still acceptable, staffs cleaned the table very quickly and find the seats for us within 5 minutes.

Excellent hotel. Nice room (photos are accurate). Fast elevator. Breakfast limited choice; I prefer to go out for breakfast. I've been using this hotel for business travel as well as personal travel with my family. Metro access within easy walking distance (5-10min). Xiantiandi and HuaiHai Road on walking distance for great variety of restaurants and shops. Friendly service desk. Special thanks this stay to Tina Tao!

I have stayed at Youxi Movie Hotel at 242 Ju Lu Road, Shanghai, China about three and half weeks from 13th November to 5th December. I had a wonderful time there. It located at the central Shanghai and is close to many entertainment centres and tourist attractions and shopping centra. The staffs at Youxi Movie Hotel were very helpful and friendly and the service is excellent. It was very surprise to me that my room is very quiet at night and you can watch a film on the wall while you are in the bed. My room is quite big so once I had my friends came over to watch the movie and chatter. And this hotel is quite new and the my room is very clean too.

The location is located on Nanjing West Road, a 15-minute walk to Plaza 66. If you take the subway, you can reach the subway station within 10 minutes🚇 The hotel service is great. When you arrive at the front desk, you will be given a cup of honey water or ginger tea. The sense of detail is great~ Late night porridge is available every night from 9:30 to 11 p.m. Free porridge and snacks are provided. I will bring my parents here around the Chinese New Year, and I plan to book this place then. Really highly recommended

The location is very central. It’s connected to many important sites: Starbucks reserve, Shanghai natural history museum and two metro lines. It was convenient point to travel from to explore Shanghai. There are also plenty of restaurants and shop. The rooms are beautiful and clean. It had many utensils for cooking and comfort. It also had a projector to watch movies at the end if the day. The information from the management is very clear and they were available to help us with all their needs. They sent extra water, tissues and helped us book a taxi.

This is a really comfortable apartment in a great location. Transportation to everywhere is made really easy with the West Nanjing Rd subway just across the street. There are 24h convenient stores and a large western supermarket nearby for grocery shopping. The inside is spacious and has a decent kitchen and a convenient set up of a bathroom, large closets, and 2 large bedrooms with king beds. We were here for a work trip and stayed for about a week and the amenities are complete to serve the apartment as a home away from home. The host is very responsive and accommodating and she also provides clear instructions for check-in/out and for the usage of all the equipment in the apartment. Thank you, Faye. Highly recommend and will come back again in winter to try out the floor heating!

Although the room is not big but the facilities are complete. I walk in the old alleys every day to experience the life of old Shanghai. There are many places to eat in the surroundings, all with the taste of old Shanghai. It’s a short walk from People’s Square, and there is a grandmother who sells jasmine bracelets and magnolia flowers on the flyover not far from the entrance of the lane. The landlord is super enthusiastic. In the event of a typhoon, the landlord sent a message to remind us to be safe when traveling! Will come again in the future! Stay here again

The location is excellent, the old urban house, convenient to take a taxi to nearby attractions. Contact in advance to inform the detailed address and opening method. The duplex room is large in size, comfortable and clean. A bathroom, toiletries are provided, and it is clean and self-care during your stay. Although soundproof, but the neighborhood is friendly, suitable for the old and young, home feeling.
