We did not have a car to take us back to the hotel in Pudacuo National Park, and she immediately asked her colleague to pick us up.

I can only repeat what the other reviews are mentioning: it’s clean, got good amenities, but everything seems a bit old. We had some WiFi issues but when it was working it was good. In general, the service wasn’t that great. We arrived tired after a long drive, no help with parking the car or the luggage. Check in was the most rigorous we had, even checking all the flight and train numbers we took. Also didn’t allow us to take a rest first. We went on a hike and wanted to take some Baozi from the breakfast - forbidden (I found that in China this is usually no problem). However, I think for the price it’s fine and while it doesn’t look like it, it’s quite clean. Also the dinner was quite good, breakfast not so much.

location is great for the town and Nappa Hai Lake which was awesome.A beautiful hotel full of culture. Beds are the comfiest in the world! Carol on reception was superb and help us out of a very stressful situation when the airport was closed because of snow. We were exceptionally grateful for her excellent english skills. Mark the waiter/ noodle chef was also extremely helpful. He spoke no English but was very patient with my Chinese. Many staff were off sick with covid as it was a few days after restrictions were lifted when we visited. Still everyone was working twice as hard to cover their colleagues. This lead to one of our rooms not being cleaned one day. Not the end of the world. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Good hotel for staying overnight before going for tiger leaping gorge hike. Very clean. Despite close to road to can get the room at the back which is very quiet and even has balcony. We stored our luggage there and come back in 2 days to pick it up without a fee.

I can not praise hotel management high enough for the level of comfort and care they created in such a remote place. Hotel offers a free pick up and the road is an independent adventure itself. The rooms have stunning views, food was great both for breakfast and dinner. The hotel personnel arranged all kinds of activities for us, very professional and careful. It is a true jewel in Yunnan!
