Loved the design of the room. The bed was very comfortable. Location is convenient walk to old city main square and the owner was very helpful and friendly.

We wish we could spend more nights here. The staffs were so helpful and insightful. The location of the hotel is strategic, not so far from the shops and main attractions.

Everything was perfect. The master helped us a lot with booking bus to Balagezong + Shambhala and recommended good restaurants. First time having Yak’s hotpot and WE LOVE IT!

This is essentially an inn that is plush in some renovation details but severely lacks warmth. The entire reception and dining area is frigidly cold. Checking into the room, it was so icy we couldn't even take a rest in it. As we headed out to get a late lunch, we asked the lady if they had portable heaters for the night. She said she had just turned on the floor heating and the room should be warmer when we get back. When we returned about 3 hours later, it was still uncomfortably chilly as cold air was seeping through the gap under the door and gliding along the marble flooring into the timber floor where the underlay heating was. The whole design is just wrong and unsuitable for the climate. The disposable towels are a joke! Imagine being in a cold room and having to dry off with a thin piece of paper towel the size of an A3 paper. Everything was damp and soggy including myself. Luckily we were given proper towels the next day after we asked. The first day experience was so bad we were considering leaving the next day. However, we know the innkeeper and family are trying their best and it's not so bad once the room warmed up. A few improvements would really help especially during the winter months: 1. Floor heating must be turned on at least 6 hours before guests check in. 2. Proper bath towels are essential. 3. A thick rug on the marble floor from the door to the timber floor. 4. Try to keep the common space warm (might be difficult given the huge double volume space).

The hotel is very close to the ancient city and has its own parking space. The owner is very nice. When we went to visit Napahai, he also sent us a route so that we didn't take the wrong way. We could also check in at the Gate of the Sky, a popular check-in spot.

Very satisfied! This inn is the most comfortable one for a dozen days in Yunnan. It was booked on short notice, so it is not cheap, but after moving in, you will get what you pay for. Every item in the room is very textured and classical, the bedding is very comfortable, the whole room is very clean, and the lighting is very beautiful! The breakfast is also delicious! It is very convenient to go to Guishan Park and eat! You can also drive there! ! Highly recommended~

The boss and his wife are very nice, very friendly and homely. The hotel is comfortable and the service is very good. They give you timely and pertinent suggestions on self-driving route planning, which helps you avoid many pitfalls. The rice noodles for breakfast are really delicious, and the boss cooks them himself. Thumbs up 👍 😀

The room is exactly the same as in the picture, with a partition between the two beds, which is very suitable for a family with children. The service attitude is very good and enthusiastic. It is very quiet at night and I slept very well. The location is good, very close to Shunshun Snacks and relatively close to the main street. According to the Gaode map, it takes 8 minutes to walk to the Big Buddha Temple and the prayer wheel, which is very close. Breakfast includes corn, millet porridge, eggs, and rice noodles are delicious.
