Good hotel in Coimbra

Good Experience.

A hotel that is well worth it. The most precious value is its staff who welcome you with a big smile, very good disposition. A charming people. I went 3 times and each one was better than the other, very professional. Delighted. Especially the person at the reception today, he regretted not having asked his name. at 8 in the morning with a lot of empathy and good treatment

The hotel facilities are quite satisfactory, the location is a bit remote, it is no problem if you drive by yourself

I had a 2 night stay at this wonderful hotel. The room was very good and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was very suitable with array of good quality products. Most of all, I think the staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I travel a lot on business, and have done so for many years, and I can say this is probably the hotel with the friendliest staff I've come across. Thank you for a great stay.

Nice hotel but nothing exciting around this area. Far away from tourist sights, you will need a taxi. We stayed here as part of a group tour. Overall, our room was decent, clean, and comfy. Breakfast was satisfactory. No pool.

I used this hotel for a week during a conference and was very pleased with it. It had a high level of cleanliness and my room was spacious and well appointed. Best of all was the service. I arrived horribly late, almost 11.00pm, on my first night having not eaten since the morning, and was treated with great kindness by the person on the desk who made the effort of phoning around and arranging for a place in town to stay open for me to eat. She didn't need to, but she did. That set the tone for a good experience all week.

Perfect location for the hospital (although a bit further away than 100 yds as stated) with very friendly and efficient staff who are all multi-lingual and put us Brits to shame. The hotel seemed to be quite empty of guests for our 2 night stay and so lacked a little atmosphere unfortunately. The restaurant served the most wonderful vegetable risotto, humbly called rice with vegetables, which was delicious. Very nice house wine too. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with a mini fridge but no coffee or tea making facilities which we did miss. The bar however serves very good coffee and the hotel's lobby is a very comfortable and relaxing place to sit and read. Building works outside and we were told that the hotel is to close in the new year for refurbishment. The refurbishment started a little early evidenced by the noise of drilling and hammering which could clearly be heard in our room and which did unfortunately spoil an otherwise pleasant stay.

This is NOT a four star hotel by any means. At best a two. Horrible DO NOT stay here. I requested this room 4 months ago. It took us an hour of driving around in circles to find it because there was NO name on the building anywhere. Upon check in I was told I would be given a king size bed after specifically requesting 2 twins and emailed confirmation 2 weeks prior to coming only to be told when we arrived we don’t guarantee the number of beds in the room! They would not accommodate my request. Room key didn’t work. Got in the room it was so hot, there was no coffee pot, no microwave, No ice bucket. Room smells is so outdated and in need of new carpet, furnishings etc..

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I enjoyed it. It's modern and clean. It has a good breakfast. The hotel with the best hairdryer ever. The only thing to point out is the fact that the parking elevator does not have a direct connection to the rooms. Parking costs €8.
