Shangri-La Hotels with Wi-Fi

I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.

location is great for the town and Nappa Hai Lake which was awesome.A beautiful hotel full of culture. Beds are the comfiest in the world! Carol on reception was superb and help us out of a very stressful situation when the airport was closed because of snow. We were exceptionally grateful for her excellent english skills. Mark the waiter/ noodle chef was also extremely helpful. He spoke no English but was very patient with my Chinese. Many staff were off sick with covid as it was a few days after restrictions were lifted when we visited. Still everyone was working twice as hard to cover their colleagues. This lead to one of our rooms not being cleaned one day. Not the end of the world. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The hotel is very good location for old town and easy to find food and enjoy with sightseeing around old town. The hotel receptionist is good service and try to communicate with us with Chinese translations App. The room is clean, the towel and bedsheets is good. Wi-Fi is great. The mattress is quite hard for me, but my friend is okay. the pillow and mattress must change to better condition.

Hotel Indigo has a spectacular bird eye view of the Shangrila town, the room has the view of the temple in the Dukezong Ancient Town. The hotel is very new and the staffs are super friendly, especially Cyrus Pan who did helped me a lot of some miscellaneous things though the stay just only 1 night. Room is clean and spacious. The restaurant served amazing food with much comfortable environment than restaurant in the ancient town. I can say a hotel must stay in Shangrila and definitely I would return if visit to Shangrila again.

The Yachajiao Manor was truly exceptional. We stayed here after hiking the first part of Tiger Leaping Gorge. The room was beautiful and modern. The heated floors kept the room at the perfect temperature in the cold winter. The bathroom had a very fancy toilet and shower with hot water 24 hours. The beds were super comfortable. The deck had a bathtub on it where the view was private and so beautiful. You could see all the stars at night and it was very peaceful. We ate dinner here and the food was wonderful, though we had read different. It was just right after a hike. The next day they offered a simple breakfast that also was super filling for our day 2 hike. I highly recommend this place. It was a treat in the middle of a long hike.

Very nice place, the room is big, The bed very comfortable and the shower works perfectly. The bathroom was clean but some hair on the floor, but overall okay. The location was great, no noisy at all and a lot of restaurants nearby. We had a late checkout and they stored our luggage while we were waiting for our flight at night. Shangri-la was amazing! The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The environment is simply a Tibetan culture museum. I feel like I have experienced the accommodation of Tibetan serf owners. The floor heating in the room is sufficient and the hot water is very good. However, the heat of the electric blanket is difficult to control and it is too hot and dry at night. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of Dukezong Ancient City, with KFC, pizza, various restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

The location was really breathtaking, simply wonderful. The room was cleand and cozy (even had electric blankets to keep you warm in place of air conditioning!) and restaurant served tasty, Chinese dishes in good prices. Overall, the experience - together with the hike - was very nice but it has to be noted that in case of the simplest no-bathroom room, the shared public toilet and bathroom is quite a disgusting experience. We've seen a lot and this one 'topped' it all.

A Tibetan-style online celebrity shop that has appeared in TV dramas. Close to the ancient city, 3 minutes walk. The star room is especially recommended, it is very quiet on the 3rd floor. The unique impression is the boss and the proprietress who are full of human touch. They do their best to treat their guests like family

In a daze and sunbathing in the ancient city with dogs has become a regular holiday for me. The hotel is located in the ancient city but besides the core of the ancient city.
