The location was really breathtaking, simply wonderful. The room was cleand and cozy (even had electric blankets to keep you warm in place of air conditioning!) and restaurant served tasty, Chinese dishes in good prices. Overall, the experience - together with the hike - was very nice but it has to be noted that in case of the simplest no-bathroom room, the shared public toilet and bathroom is quite a disgusting experience. We've seen a lot and this one 'topped' it all.

The location was great, no noisy at all and a lot of restaurants nearby. We had a late checkout and they stored our luggage while we were waiting for our flight at night. Shangri-la was amazing! It’s really a great experience to celebrate the New Year here! The chef here really cooks delicious food! The boss invited all the tenants to have dinner and drinks together on New Year's Eve. It was really fun! I will definitely come again and probably countless times! The Tibetan little Dolma is also super hospitable! The bed was very comfortable! The pillows are so comfortable! Sleeping super comfortable! I have been out for half a month and have stayed and slept in many places. It was the first time I slept so comfortably! Thank you, Boss Zhou! Thank you also to the chef for making us taste like home in a foreign country! Sure enough, he was a chef who had worked in a five-star hotel in Guangzhou for 10 years!

This is the second time I came to Shangri-La with my wife. I accidentally saw this hot spring tent camp on Trip.com. The first time I noticed it was its unique location. Valley and plateau hot springs have a strong attraction for small potatoes like our coastal city. After the actual stay, this hotel really exceeded expectations. The hotel environment is really great! More than a dozen tent rooms are located by the lake. Every time you open the camp account, you will see the invincible scenery. You can see the water birds playing, and you can also see the horses eating grass on the opposite pasture. Even sitting by the lake for an afternoon will not feel tired. It's so healing! The hotel reception hall is bright and tidy, and very design. Floor-to-ceiling windows face the lake. You can sit down and have a cup of coffee is very comfortable! The facilities in the tent are all available, clean and tidy, with a separate bathroom. The air conditioner in the account is also very warm, so don't worry about winter. The store also prepared a humidifier very intimately, praise! Of course, the most worth mentioning is the hot spring private soup in the hotel, the privacy is good, the real geothermal spring water, the temperature is strong, and all the fatigue is gone after the night, it is really amazing! Staying in the city for a long time really will yearn for nature, this trip to Shangri-La, here is really the most surprising point for me, look at the lake, look at the starry sky, as if the whole world has slowed down!

We chose this hotel for its new and modern rooms kitted with oxygen supply. We were pleased with the welcome drinks and fresh towels upon arrival. We loved our room, which included a comfortable bed, open concept bathroom with strong shower pressure, choice of designer toiletries, automated oxygen supply after 630pm to help with the high altitude, a 100 inch Xiaomi TV and quality tea minibar snacks in the room lounge area. We wished we could have a better view than the building next door but this is a small issue as we were out most of the time. We enjoyed the good night dessert left in our room every night, and we had ample Tibetan breakfast every morning, which kept us energised till afternoon. (You can also choose Chinese and Western breakfast.) The hotel provides free bottled water in the lobby, convenient before stepping out or returning from a long day. We thought there was a butler service to help with maps, travel information, transportation or tours in and around Shangri-La but maybe we were mistaken. The two female reception staff and concierge were friendly and helpful in answering our questions but they were also busy doubling up as room and breakfast service staff. Despite this, they did a good job of tending to many guests. Location of the hotel is outside of the old town. We have to take a 12-15 minute walk along a side road and cross an avenue to get to the bridge that leads you to the entrance of the old town. Not to worry, if you do not wish to walk to town (or walk back at night), taxis or DiDi aren't expensive. We would still recommend the hotel for its great value.
