a short break away. The interior of the hotel is a little tired however our bedroom (room 1) was very clean and the bedding and towelling soft and spotless. The bed itself was also comfortable. The ensuite had been recently updated and was to a good standard. There was a friendly welcome by staff for our breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

Terrible stay The venue was beautiful and the room was large and nicely decorated ,but on further inspection found that the room hadnt been cleaned ,several years worth of mould and cobwebs behind furniture ,the shower looked slimy with black mould on the grout .Bed felt damp .no WI-FI no information pack ,no phone number for owner .very basic .Had to go and find the owner in the dark to investigate an altercation in the room above .Owner didnt seem very concerned or helpful .We left at midnight and drove home as the weekend had been ruined .

Amazing view Bedroom 7 was very clean, well decorated and comfortable but the shower cubicle is not suitable for anyone on the large side (over 12 stone) as the entrance is restricted. The stair carpet is worn and decor rather tired in the entrance. Sadly they ran out of eggs and brown bread at breakfast and sausages were tasteless but rest of cooked breakfast was fine. Friendly hosts and a quiet location with great view from the restaurant. Good amount of parking in front of hotel

Amazing stay. Only knocked off a star because of the shower. The place wasn’t that hard to get to. Greeted by very friendly staff/hosts. Stayed a couple of nights. Room was nice but the power on the shower was not as strong as I would like or as spacious but adequate. Asked for iron and board which was promptly left by the door during breakfast for us to use. Breakfast was nice. Spoilt for choice with the option of continental and full breakfast. Also had dinner which was also of very good standard. Amazing view from the dining room. If I were to come back to Cornwall, I would consider to stay here again.

I have travelled a great deal , the Liscawn is not a hotel it is a bed and breakfast . We arrived on Friday to be shown to our room by a very polite member of the Adams family . We settled in to our room then headed for the bar. It was empty but they did serve us to bottled drinks. My request for a sandwich won a startled gaze but they did raid their refrigerator. Breakfast was OK , had to find son of lurch to request more tea toast etc. We did tell them we would be eating in. Went to the restaurant at night , menu looked very unappetising chicken goujon and chips , sausage and mash .I went for the fish and chips expecting fresh cod , but got something hard and crispy like a burnt captain bird's-eye leftover. After that we eat at lunchtime and got our evening meal from Sainsburys. Two days we were the only guests but one day it did rise to 8. A beautiful hotel but wouldn't go back
