It was a nice stay but room was extremely small that one can't understand by just looking at the picture. Everything else was good. Washroom was clean and staff was polite.

Everything is SO amazing. Hygiene is properly maintained, complimentary breakfast was delicious, the rooms were quite spacious.. Pillows & mattresses were the FLUFFIEST. Most importantly, I absolutely loved the behavior of the staff. They are so well behaved, helpful and soft spoken. Best staff ever! ✨

A perfect place to stay with friends/family/couples. The property has 3 wings- heritage, forest and valley wing. We stayed in the valley wing. The rooms were small but cozy with a touch of royalty. The view of the city is amazing, especially at night, when city is all lit up. Some rooms have a balcony with is spacious and beautiful. The entire property is well maintained. It definitely provides you a feel of the historic past it beholds. They have designated breakfast and dinner areas in the different wings making sure that guests don't miss out on the heritage and royalty. Orchids and pine trees enhance its beauty. The significance of the horse shoe shaped entrance, the historic importance of different blocks, old photographs take you down the memory lane. The hospitality and food are good. Staff is very courteous. Ambience is great.It lives upto its name.

Firstly, the rooms are the same as shown in the pictures. The wooden floorings and lobby decor are lovely. The whole property consists of beautiful decor pieces,(side note- you can have Instagram-worthy pics everywhere on their property). The ambiance is calm and peaceful inside the property. The staff is also very lovely and friendly. But what I didn't like was the food was very expensive, and in the morning buffet there were not that many options which I would have preferred for the price. The services were good but you have to ping them again and again to provide the services. The exact location of this property is not pleasing but the main road and markets are nearby, so that is a good thing. The toiletries were in the bare minimum amount. Overall, for me, the experience at the price that you pay is not completely satisfactory.

Friendly service. Best feature of the hotel was the restaurant. The food was fresh and the quality and choice of meals was excellent. Waiters were very attentive. Only thing lacking was no alcohol served at dinner. The residency is located just off one of the busy streets of Shillong which is fascinating for a tourist to wander and see how the locals live.

Orange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

I stayed in Woodstock resort it was one of my best resort Location wise Food is yummy Services are very good Whatever you ordered we get immediately Weather is so pleasant Especially I would like to Thank Ms. Tina Dewri for her wonderful service. I recommend highly to all of my friends and family to go and visit Woodstock Resort and meet the manager she was so helpful and kind hearted. Overall it was my wonderful experience if I get a chance to rate I should have rated 100 out of 100. Thank you Ms.Tina and your team for everything and lovely services We will visit again .

The resort Roinam retreat is a decent place to stay for a larger group. Pros: a. Resort arrangement b. Food c. Rooms cleanliness. Everyday it is cleant and our belongings are safe and secure. d. Front office (Miss Priya and team is very friendly and approachable) . We had a medical emergency one night and the front office team did not hesitate to help us to their best. They accompanied us to the nearby hospital - Hats-off Cons Location - its a bit interior and vey little access to any shops, but on the other hand it gives a very calm and near to nature atmosphere Food - We were veg group so not many options Breakfast - The menu is standard and repeats alternate days. No options at all Food area - Reception and food area is the same so felt very cramped. Power fluctuation - Although they have generator backup, during metered power the voltage falls low even the fan finds it difficult to run.
