This hotel is gorgeous and has an amazing interior courtyard where you can relax day and night, have tea or light snacks and drinks. Staff was nice and helpful, not overly friendly like we've encountered in the rest of the country, but helpful and pleasant. The rooms could use some updates. There was a significant amount of chipped paint, water damage, and other wear and tear that doesn't really fit the Rixos brand. Bed was comfortable and linens were fresh. Bathroom functioned perfectly. Breakfast was delicious. Staff could have been much friendly during breakfast. They were definitely not up to par with Rixos standards either. Not sure we would stay here again as there are other options in the city, but we had a fine stay.

I recently visited the Rixos Khadisha Shymkent hotel in the beautiful city of Shymkent, and I would like to share my impressions. The time spent at this hotel was unforgettable, and I am sure that you will also be delighted with this place. My time at the hotel was simply amazing. Immediately upon arrival I was struck by the immaculate cleanliness of the room. Everything was so neat and tidy that I had no doubt that the hotel pays great attention to hygiene. I could enjoy my stay in a comfortable and clean environment. Rixos Khadisha Shymkent is in an ideal location. It is literally within walking distance of a variety of shops, restaurants and attractions, making it an ideal choice for travelers. I could easily explore the city and enjoy all its delights without spending a lot of time moving around. As for vacation metrics, I appreciated the excellent service at the hotel. The staff were friendly, attentive and always ready to help. They did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. In addition, the hotel's cuisine also deserves praise. The breakfasts were varied and the food in the restaurant was amazing. If you are planning a visit to Shymkent, I highly recommend choosing the Rixos Khadisha Shymkent hotel. You definitely won't regret it. This is a place where you can relax and enjoy all the pleasures of travel. Thanks to the hotel staff for their care and hospitality. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in Shymkent. Helpful tip for future travelers: don't forget to try the local dishes in the hotel restaurant, they are really delicious. And don't miss the opportunity to explore the hotel's surrounding area, as it is full of interesting places to visit.

The Rixos is located in a safe part of town with many shops nearby including a mini-mart across the street and a Coffee Boom restaurant next door. Most of the staff speaks some English, which is immensely helpful. My jr suite is very roomy and comfortable. If I visit again it’s the Rixos for me.

I stayed at this hotel for a month, so had plenty of time to work out the facilities. Beautiful, luxurious hotel, within easy walking distance of the centre, close to some good restaurants, shops, pharmacies and entertainment. Rooms are very well furnished with a balcony, not very wide but adequate with both doors open. Fully air conditioned room, huge smart flatscreen TV, coffee machine, plenty of powerpoints, fully stocked mini bar, as well as crisps, nuts and even a packet of Durex. The swimming pool and Spa facilities were excellent, towels, robes and slippers, all supplied, Sauna, Steam room and ice room, along with a cold plunge pool. Fully equipped Gym, and massage treatment. Room service 24/7, used on a couple of occasions, excellent pizza. 2 restaurant's, a bar plus the atrium area where anything can be ordered.

Was very disappointed with the Rixos for the following reasons, pool water was not clean, walls in rooms are paper thin and you can hear everything from other rooms. The aircon was not working at all, the bins were not emptied daily and neither were the bath robes. The bathroom ventilation was not working and this cause a rusty smell in the room. Rooms not cleaned daily properly. Complained to reception about the noise and nothing was done about it. Male staff not very friendly and a bit rude. Female staff were friendly. No signs for the out of service front door.

Although the hotel staff was very professional and courteous (special thanks for Iskandar!), this property disappoints. The rooms could use some sprucing up: the pillows are terrible, there was a smell in the room, and the room was sweltering hot even with the window open (in December!) The spa personnel messed up my appointment and nobody even apologized. The walls between rooms are paper thin and I could hear my neighbors and the TV at 3:00 AM. Although there were numerous reminders to wear a mask, none of the hotel employees did and very few of the guests... The location is good and Shymkent is an attractive destination but when I come back I will not stay at the Rixos. Not worth the money!

From the entrance we could feel the special atmosphere. Should say the food was in a level that left bright print in my memory. The staff, service were absolute pleasure and surely it is the best hotel in the city. Thanks to whole team!

During our stay with my team for business, the cleanliness of the hotel and the discipline of the employees were excellent. I would like to thank the night manager, Musa Bey, who immediately took care of our friend who slipped and fell in the snow and did not withhold his support in the ambulance, hospital and the following process.

We stayed in the middle of August in the Family Lux room. We chose this hotel in honor of our youngest daughter's birthday, all expectations were met, all places in the SPA work as they should. The cleanliness in the rooms was top notch, the breakfast was excellent. The whole team works great, special thanks to Musa Bey for his attention.

The service is great! The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel provided us with the opportunity to travel to Turkestan. Aiman, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and very friendly to us. The facilities here are clean and luxurious. The breakfast has a rich variety, the ingredients are fresh and the portion is sufficient. Finally, the hotel's driver Arman took us to the airport. He was knowledgeable, spoke fluent English, and provided professional service.
