Very clean and comfortable, and the tree house is very special. Also, the home-made family breakfast is delicious.

Great Hospitality, Amazing food. Run by a sweet and a humble family, they take good care of their guests. About the place… it’s truly like living in the nature.

The very warm and thoughtful service and rich breakfast will make you unbelievable that this is a great experience provided by a homestay! The wooden house in the tropical jungle is surrounded by the sound of birds and you can enjoy nature to your heart's content. The swings and hammocks at the door allow people to play as soon as possible. The sign at the door is not very obvious. There are several restaurants around, but I didn't find any restaurants that I was interested in.

The hotel is right next to the road. It feels like you are in the forest after entering. It is a great hotel. The owner is very welcoming. We stayed in a two-story cabin. They may not use quilts. There is only one sheet on the bed as a quilt. If you are not used to it, you can use the thin air-conditioning quilt.

A homestay that pays great attention to detail, great breakfast!

The owner was very friendly and we had lots of fun talking. The location was great, close to Sigiriya Rock. The room was clean and the plants in the garden were lovely. Breakfast was a variety of options, including roti, pancakes, fruit and juice, and everything was delicious. This time we only stayed one night, but it was a lovely, cozy place that made us want to stay for days. We'd like to stay again the next time we visit Sigiriya.

The hotel is great, the landlord's family is also very welcoming, the hotel's green atmosphere and careful layout are also very good, I felt a wonderful day, will recommend more people

Host Dinesh was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He organised our tours and was always very accomodating. The chalet was perfect with comfortable beds and great facilities. The breakfast was a highlight, delicious traditional Sri Lanka food! Would highly recommend staying here!

We couldn’t choose a better place to start our trip around Sri Lanka. We have been lucky to find an owner like Dinesh, who seems to be a long lost friend whom you hadn’t seen for a long time. The room are really comfortable, we have a fantastic dinner and we have been helped to organise our next day in the country. But what we’ll remember the most about this place are the people who we met: Dinesh and his family are there for you, with a smile, a passion fruit fresh pressed juice and some story about how much they care about their guests. As I said, a long lost friend in the jungle…

Dinesh was very friendly and welcoming. He is exceedingly helpful. The accommodation was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 older teenagers). The property and the room are very well maintained. The fridge in the room was useful for keeping drinks chilled. Each day Dinesh provided a very tasty local breakfast with lots of different flavours and very generous portions. Otunna Guest House provides a great base for visiting Sigiriya and surrounding areas. There is a good choice of restaurants nearby within a short walk to Sigiriya village or using a cheap tuk-tuk. Definitely recommend this accommodation.

Really really reccomend staying here. A beautiful garden with lovely, clean chalets with a stunning surrounding. The staff, in particular Dinesh, go above and beyond with lots of interesting conversation, delicious food (fresh herbs, fruit and veg from the garden) and drinks and staff are very helpful. One of the best places we’ve stayed!
