The front desk receptionist was unfriendly and rude. The bed has a smell of unclean sheets and the toilet has pee stains. Did not dare to use the toilet at all.

Poor people staff can not community and are not helpful with everyone

I'll be fair, previous instances probably when it was still newer before COVID and a little after COVID circa 2019 & early 2022, the hotel was great. Quick search for "The Great Madras bedbug issue news"will yield news, reporting on the condition of the room too which was experienced similarly as reported. This is one hotel and its subsidiaries that I will be avoiding actively when possible. The hotel isn't cheap to begin with too for Singapore's standard, so the minimal standards of expectations is a definite and review is based off that. Meh, horrendous to be honest, cancellation requested was real early but hotel choose to not accept without any reasonable reason. But review is not based from the non- cancellation but actual stay instead. From the news report, hotel will respond if it gets eyeballs on it and starts affecting the hotel's rep. Went ahead to stay but met with poorly maintained room, though cody buy TV isn't working, aircon is loud and not exactly cold. Dusty room, rusted doors and mouldy toilets, staff is decent but more of just there for the sake of it with the hotel clearly being understaffed. Not sure why upkeep is not maintained since rooms isn't exactly huge to begin with. Same goes for its neighbouring hotel owned by the same parent company, The Daulat by Hotel Calmo. Founder & CEO is by the name of Ken C. allegedly, which doesn't reply you if you reach out too. Speaks volume of the organisation based off the top non-response. Taper down the expectations from the reviews, the photos are mostly in 2019 when the hotel just opened, so do not be fooled.

Love it so much! Love the bathtub! Super syiok staying there! You can watch netflix, youtube and even on your own sootify songs! Super vibe.

The hotel room was fine however I’m not fancy about the location tho.. The place is too crowded.

The light keep shining nonstop,really hate it

The receptionist was out of nowhere when we had questions.

It's bit secluded though there are crowds. No soundproof at all. Literally hearing alot vehicles around, people laughing talking all sorts of noises. The window was slightly cracked. Even hearing music below I think there's a Club downstairs. Requested for a room change but to no avail. What I like about is the smart tv. Well i stay for a day so I Don't think I will stay there again. Overall the room was quite comfy except the noise outside are intolerable.

It is very comfy with ample enough space. For those on a budget, this is definitely your choice to go. Strategic location for sightseeing and multiple eateries and convenience stores nearby.

Hi the worst hotel to go too. It's so dirty and not clean at all. Even they change room for us the toilets was still dirty and smelly too. We clean the toilet our ownself also still it was dirty and had hairs in the floor . Thank god we lock our room door no privacy at all. The room service guy wanted to open teh door without asking there was customer in room and all. No privacy man. How can they do this. We didn't feel comfortable to stay again the same place so we change to new hotel. It was worst experience for us.

Perfect place to relax after a tiring day roaming around SG. Near MRT and bus stations. Clean room, good amenities. No problem encountered at all.

Location is near little india & rochor mrt stations about 5 mins walking distance. Price is a little expensive for a 3-star hotel. Considered the better one along the area
