Shangri-La accommodation in Singapore

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Even though many online reviews mentioned outdated facilities, I found them to be perfectly fine. Overall, it's great for families. They offer a shuttle service directly to VivoCity, have a beach right there, a pool, and various activities to keep the kids entertained. I especially want to commend the breakfast selection; it's incredibly diverse, with local, Western, and Chinese options to satisfy all palates. Plus, it was my birthday, and they specially decorated the room, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Singapore Shangri-La: An Exploration of Southeast Asian Hotels Opened in 1971, this hotel holds significant historical value as it's the very first property in the entire Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts group. Thanks to excellent upkeep, it doesn't feel old at all. It features three wings in total: Tower, Valley, and Garden. I stayed in the Tower Wing this time. The room was quite spacious, though its irregular shape took a little getting used to. The hotel breakfast was a bit pricey, so I skipped it, but I did enjoy the pool and Health Club twice during my stay. The pool is an impressive 2.5 meters deep, which is quite rare for a hotel. The Health Club is fantastic, offering a sauna, steam room, and a hydrotherapy pool.

It was a very good stay. The room was spacious and bright, the service attitude was very good, it was convenient to go to Shangri-La Hotel for meals and fitness, and it had its own swimming pool. Linda, the waiter on the 9th floor, was very considerate and enthusiastic, especially praised. There were Chinese waiters in the lobby. We will continue to stay here next time we come to Singapore.
