A clean room, Very close to Sofia Central Bus Station, Need to walk 15-20 minutes to city centre

Superb. I recommend the hotel

I thought the location was good because it was about a 10-minute walk from Sofia Central Station, within walking distance to the center, and there was a supermarket nearby. It's not that it's not clean, but the overall impression of the hotel was dark. Maybe it's the carpet or the lighting. The service was not bad, but the receptionist was a little blunt or unfriendly. I heard that many Bulgarian people are shy as a national character, so I think that's the way it is. Amenities included shampoo, shower gel, bar soap, bath towels, face towels, and bath mats, but there were no tissues, toothbrushes, slippers, or loungewear. There is no water in a plastic bottle, so when you drink coffee or tea that is provided as an amenity, you need to use tap water or the water you bought yourself. All the breakfasts were delicious. It seems that there is basically no person in charge other than replenishing meals and serving dishes, so it seems that each person can use it freely.

Well, it's a bit ambiguous. If it's your first time, it might be scary. But it's okay if you move a few times.

The environment is not bad, the room is tidy and clean, the free parking space is limited, you can only park on the side of the road, you need to pay for parking after 8:30 in the morning, there is a simple breakfast, but the attitude of the front desk staff is relatively indifferent.

Great helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, carpet is a little old. Great TV with lots of english channels and Bulgarian music and folkdance! Short safe walk to city center, museums, churches, mosque, restaurants of all levels and food styles. Close to public transport to monasteries!

Stayed here before & after a tour. The room before the tour was very dark even with all the lights turned on & very hot. However the room after tour was amazing large & bright & very quiet & also had a kettle & coffee which the first room didn't. Would of given score of 4 but the first room I stayed in was no where near the standard of the amazing second room. Staff at reception area very welcoming & friendly . Breakfast room needs an update , however has everything you need to start your day !

The hotel is easy to find and there is a parking lot very near. Like other people have mentioned the parking area is controlled by CCTV -cameras but it's still quite shady and to me it didn't feel like our car was very safe. There are car tyres and garbage all over and the building next to it is abandoned with broken windows and graffitis. Everything was ok with the car when we left though. The room is quite dark, shabby and in need of refreshing. The mattress of the bed was not the best to say the least. On the positive note the bathroom seems to be renovated recently and the breakfast was quite good. The distance from the main walking street is about 20 minutes.

I spend only one night in this Hotel. Very nice Hotel. Clean Good located. Near to the Busstation. Frendly personal. 24 hours service. The taxibutton, it is just very new service for me and it is so comfortable. Breakfast was very good too. P.S. Very comfortable Pillow and mettress, what allways was my problem in each Hotel. But not in this one. Just perfect )))

The hotel is located not far from the center...just a 10-minute walk. Before I write something bad about the hotel, I will write something good. The hotel staff are very friendly and always ready to help. I especially thanks to Lubomir and Maria. Second, the hotel is neat and clean, but I froze in bed even though I took an extra blanket from the closet and turned on the heating, which they turn off. There is also a special "garden" for smokers. The food is commendable...from breakfast to lunch.

I stayed at Budapest Hotel a total of two nights! Overall, it was a nice hotel and I had a pleasant stay. I will note minor deficiencies below. First off, location. Location of the hotel is excellent - nearby to the transport hubs (train station, bus station) and no more than a 10 minute walk to central Sofia where there are many shops, restaurants, banks, money exchange, drug stores (DM) and supermarkets (Lidl). I was locate to locate local currency, groceries, and toiletries all on the same street. The hotel is quite imposing in height - with many floors of rooms. It has a large sign on the highest floors. This makes it easy to locate your street when finding your way back to the hotel. There is a working lift/elevator, but many mornings I would take the stairs. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. There was an arm chair, luggage storage bench, large luggage storage cabinet, desk, chair, electronic safe, and mini fridge in the room. The room also had a small electric kettle along with 2 mugs, 2 cups and an assortment of tea and instant coffee and sugars. The room had large windows letting in the light, which was a good thing, because I felt like the lighting in the room was severely lacking (the room was very dark!). Some of the lights didn't work, but most working lights provided only a very dim light. There was air conditioning in the room, but it didn't seem to work well or at all. When I would turn it on, it didn't seem to blow any air. The room had a large flatscreen tv with many channels available - local, international (English etc.). The bathroom was clean and was smartly designed. I liked the enclosed large walk in shower! Water pressure was excellent, though water temperature sometimes fluctuated in the shower. The toilet ran from time to time, but it was a minor issue. My only grievances about the washroom would be sparing toilet paper and sparing in shower shampoo. Either the dispenser didn't work properly, or there was very little shampoo in the dispenser. Bathrooms were equipped with many towels, which I appreciated - 2 hand towels and 2 large bath towels. The bed was really comfortable and I loved the firmness of the mattress and pillows. There are many power sockets bedside and in the room generally also, so this was a plus. Wifi signal was strong in the room as well as throughout the entire hotel. Breakfast starts early, at 7:00am however with the number of guests, food started to run short by 7:15am. I feel the amounts put out by the hotel are not sufficient in keeping with the number of guests. Guests who arrived to breakfast at 7:30am were starting at empty or near empty serving platters. I did see one member of the kitchen crew try to replenish food items, but they were disappearing faster than they could be replaced. Seating is also very limited in the breakfast room, with some guests struggling to find a place to sit and eat. Amazing hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, nice shower with a lot of pressure, normal sizer bathroom but enough, boiler and coffee and tea in the room. Plenty of TV channels in different languages. In floor 5 you can see in the night the buildings in the downtown illuminated. If you close the curtains and can't discover what time is it. The staff was very friendly and helpfully and the breakfast amazing. Really a very good option and I will repeat. The hotel is only 6 or 7 minutes walking from the metro station and even, you can go walking to the downtown. A very nice restaurant is in the same street about 300 meter away, traditional restaurant (read my other review about it)

the provided room is clean and comfortable, cleaned every day with high quality, a pleasant breakfast, which struck with a variety of dishes a positive impression of the hotel, at the reception was met by a beautiful girl 😊. the room is clean and comfortable, I will be happy to come again and recommend to my friends
