Ibis Birmingham Airport - NEC Reviews

Booked for an event at the NEC. Considering this is called the Ibis Airport - NEC, I expected it to be more centrally located between the airport and NEC, but it’s actually in the middle of the airport complex. I was under the impression this hotel had its own carpark but we couldn’t find it. Due to being in the middle of the airport, you’re also not able to stop to find your bearings due to “no stopping, £100 fine” signs everywhere. We did find an NCP carpark next door which was £56 for 24 hours, I’ve no idea if this is what’s meant when it says the hotel has parking available. We parked elsewhere and walked. The hotel itself is mediocre, the bar is decent but the room aircon wasn’t working which wasn’t ideal given the time of year.

Ideal for an early morning flight. Easy check in, very clean, comfy bed. Perfect.

Great location. Perfect for the departure lounge. Bar okay but busy. Out of stock of some beers but wine good. Took taxi to Resorts World for food. Make sure you walk to drop off area up get it though. All non stopping route around hotels. Recommend. Lots of restaurants and much better than eating in hotel. Would use again

The location is perfect for those arriving late at night or catching an early flight. Breakfast was simple but the bread was fresh! Overall, functionally good.

The actual price is much lower than what I paid. I appealed many times but it was ineffective. They said that the channels are different and I might as well order it myself. What is the meaning of the platform?

The hotel is located in front of the terminal, convenient for check-in for morning flights. Quiet at night.

Those without air conditioning can only provide fans. Fortunately, the weather has just turned cooler, but it is very hot. I called the front desk but had to wait for half an hour. It would be faster to go directly to the front desk to get it. Check in check out is very fast, the place is convenient, the only advantage

Very disappointing experience! The flight from Rome to London was delayed and rerouted to Birmingham Airport. I booked a room at 2am on the 22nd, but I could only choose to check in on the 23rd on the platform! As a result, I couldn't change it when I arrived at the hotel! I paid for check-in on the spot! The room fee for the 23rd on the platform was non-refundable! I had no choice but to accept it in the middle of the night! I insist on blacklisting this black shop! Why can't Ctrip come out to solve the problem?

Although it is not cheap, it is worth the money. It is clean and tidy. The restaurant has everything you need for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is a good choice for business trips. Except that you can't park at the door to drop off passengers, everything is very good. Great breakfast.
