AalshafiraThe room was spacious and clean, very traditional vibe. The staff was professional, and the whole atmosphere of the hotel was very traditional java vibe. Just too bad the gym was quite small, the equipment was bare with just the necessaries. I like that the location is near the Pura Mangkunegaran, so we can visit it with our limited time.

My mother loves staying at this hotel. Every time she goes to Solo, she always asks for The Sunan. Keep up the quality, The Sunan!😄

AAk RahmanThis is a beautiful property with clean well appointed rooms. The gym has good equipment and the pool is great. The only thing that I was not happy with is the hotel changed their policy about using the sauna and steam rooms. I have been visiting this hotel every year and this is the first time I was denied entry because I booked a superior room instead of a deluxe room. I believe this is a bad policy.

For breakfast at Santan Restaurant, it is varied and tastes good.
Need to be updated for the bed and chairs in the room. It's a bit old and makes noise.
Overall, it's a pleasant stay at Horison Aziza Hotel.

From thej very first moment I stepped into the well appnted and furnished lobby with abundance of well displayed local antiques and traditional handicraft, to the moment I reached my corner-view junior suite on 9th floor with plenty of amenities and cares, batik patterned bathrobes included! The entre staff is responsve, naturally and honestly smiling, and with the right attitude of solving. Even though travelling as solo I was welcomned by people to have a chat with and this is absolutely outsanding. As to its position I would say great. A few blocks away from the local Kampung Wisata Batik Kauman and the Kraton, as well as the buses heading to Semarang. Solo Balipan station is 10 minutes away by taxi. The morning breakfast is the real prelude to joyful tastes from local dishes to international. Anything freshly cooked and replenished constantly by well trained staff from cooks to waiters. The best capuccino I have ever had it was there! Absolutely recommendable

GGuest UserRoom was below average and you could see stains on the bedsheets. Room odour wasn't the greatest. Shower head was filthy. And you could hear noise outside your room door when people walked or talking.
Check in staff wasn't professional as one would expect. They are just saying yes and ok to every things or request merely just to get rid of you. No follow up on things requested even though things that you have agreed upon checking in. Hopefully they would change for the better because they are serious competition in the city.

RRasyid Indra Muliawanthe location of the hotel in the city center although it is a bit into the alley,but the alley is big.the hotel became one with the cafe in the front area.the parking lot is quite large and is distinct between hotel guests and cafe guests.the alley exit is a little bit of food vendors. For the staff very very friendly and informative. There is a deposit that I forgot the amount (it seems 100k). Eco hotel concept without elevator. Each floor is provided with a water dispenser. for the room i booked it was a bit narrow and it was stuck between the tray and the table,so it had to be a bit jumping.but overall it was very comfortable,the mattress was soft,the tv signal was ok,the ac was quick to cool down,the water heater was ok,and the room was clean
