We stayed for two nights, and the only minor issues were that the screen mirroring in one room wasn't working perfectly, and the shower pressure was a bit low. However, the other room was absolutely perfect! If we visit Songyang again, we'll definitely choose this place, perhaps trying a different room type next time. 😀

The B&B is located at the highest point of the mountain. It happened to rain during the two days of the trip. I thought I would be able to see the sea of ​​clouds the next day, but it turned out to be foggy when I woke up early. But I was not disappointed. Chenjiapu has a unique flavor when it rains, and the view from the room is great. It's the best. It's a refreshing day hiding in the mountains away from the city's atmosphere. If you like a different Chenjiapu, don’t complain about the bad weather, enjoy the moment, wear a jacket and get wet in the rain, at that moment freedom reaches its peak. Another thing to mention is that the boss was so nice. He introduced us to the village when he arrived late that day, called us in advance to ask what time we would arrive, and even helped us carry our luggage. After the shuttle bus dropped us off at the Chenjiapu stop, we contacted the housekeeper who came to pick us up. We still had to climb a mountain path for about 5-6 minutes, probably 400-500 steps. It was a bit tiring on the first day, but we got used to it over the next two days. Chenjiapu is quite a successful commercial development; the entire village's exterior has been repaired to look as original as possible, while the interior decor meets modern aesthetics. Our B&B room was a duplex, with the bathroom on the first floor. It was a bit inconvenient to climb the stairs in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Also, the bathroom sink area was a bit small, so my toiletry bag and toiletries had to be placed on a shelf nearby. The housekeeper created a group chat a day in advance, and many people provided service there, with quick response times. I suggest installing a gate in the area where I stayed. I saw another B&B that had a gate in their accommodation area, preventing passing tourists from entering. We also visited Yangjiatang. During the holidays, it was crowded, and everyone had to take a shuttle bus. Yangjiatang even had two shuttle segments, and we waited in line for a long time to transfer. It would have only taken 20 minutes to walk, which is fine as long as it's not scorching hot. It would be very hot during summer vacation... Yangjiatang really didn't seem to have much to see besides the big tree at the village entrance. We couldn't go to Songzhuang Village that day because it had already exceeded its visitor capacity.

The room was very spacious and quite clean. Of course, being in the mountains, some bugs are understandable. There were three of us, and we initially thought about setting up a tatami bed in the living room, but we decided against it. Good thing we did, because the living room curtains didn't block out any light at all, making it impossible to sleep there. The service was excellent. They waited for us in the parking lot, and after helping us park, they carried our suitcases quite a ways up a mountain path. That was incredibly thoughtful. Breakfast was not only delicious, but the restaurant staff were also very enthusiastic. Even though it was a set meal, if you enjoyed something, they'd constantly tell you that you could have more. I highly recommend the freshly made pancakes; just wrap them with your favorite side dishes – delicious! Our package also included a travel photoshoot and coffee vouchers. The photoshoot was just okay, but the coffee and desserts were excellent. We had one dinner at the Feiniaoji restaurant, and it was quite good – definitely worth trying. It would be even better if they had a gym.

I went to Songyang with my dog ​​and stayed at Yunshang Pingtian. It was a very good experience. The housekeeper was very enthusiastic and nice. He helped us upgrade to a suite. I liked it very much. The most direct impact was that I decided to stay one more night on the spur of the moment and experienced the loft upstairs and downstairs. The location of the B&B is very good. I heard that it is the earliest B&B. It is not in the scenic area, the mountain road is easier to drive, parking is convenient, the layout is very literary, the environment is very quiet, suitable for slow life! The breakfast is very good, especially the corn and sweet potatoes, it is so delicious! It is not as far as Songzhuang Village, and it is not as congested as Chenjiapu Village and Yangjiatang Village. But it is very close to Chenjiapu Village, and it is only a 20-minute drive to the old town. It is very pet-friendly. You can go to the restaurant and Grandpa's coffee shop with us. There are kittens in the store, which makes the dog excited! Recommended!

We went there to celebrate New Year's Day, and it was very cold during a cold snap. The air conditioner stopped working at 4 AM, likely due to a problem with the outdoor unit. Turning it off resolved the issue. However, the room was still cold. Although there was a wall-mounted boiler for heating, the 100-square-meter room, with one wall entirely made up of windows, couldn't withstand the cold. Cleanliness: Average. There were water stains on the floor. Towels and bath towels were disposable, which is commendable. The toothbrush was of poor quality, pricking our gums and causing bleeding. Service: The guesthouse staff were very helpful. They picked us up from the village entrance after we drove up the mountain and proactively helped with our luggage. We were only staying one night for New Year's Eve, so we didn't have any luggage, just our backpacks. They gave us some local specialty tea upon check-out. Negative Impressions: The guesthouse only apologized for the broken air conditioner. After check-in, there was no further service. The management felt very poor, and at 1222 yuan per night, it was definitely not worth it. Additionally, this guesthouse has two names (two shop links on the platform), which was confusing when I went; it felt like the experience didn't match the description. I uploaded a picture of the sofa, which is exactly how it looked after we checked out—people had been sitting on it before, but no bags were left there. The guesthouse room was just a pretty picture; it didn't look like a real room. On the positives: the guesthouse staff were friendly and offered a shuttle service. The room had a great view, located at the highest point of the mountain. Thinking about starting the new year on a high vantage point, I wanted to get some good luck!
