"My friends and I booked two rooms for 3 days and 2 nights, costing over 1600 yuan per night for the weekend. The current price of over 1600 yuan for a guesthouse is completely unacceptable given the environment, service, facilities, and cleanliness. The staff were all untrained young people. On the first day, after checking in at the front desk, a staff member escorted my friends and their family to their room. They told us to go to the parking lot and wait for someone to retrieve our luggage before guiding us to our room. We parked and retrieved our luggage ourselves in the open space, which was over 30 degrees Celsius, and no one offered any service. We only saw several young people walking around; it was unclear whether they were guests or staff. They weren't wearing uniforms and showed no professionalism! We had to actively ask if they were hotel staff and who would bring our luggage and guide us to our room… On the first night, the water flow from the bathroom faucet was very weak. We didn't know if it was due to water pressure or a faucet problem. We asked a staff member, but they couldn't adjust it and had to change our room. However, every room had mold spots on the walls, the corners of the bathroom were very itchy, and the bathroom shower curb was broken, making it easy to scratch guests when entering and exiting. My son developed an itchy rash after sleeping there for one night. The bedding wasn't very clean either, and the room was old and poorly maintained! The next morning at 8 AM, I woke up to find the water was cut off, making it impossible to wash or use the toilet. Both rows of houses were under repair with no water supply, and by 11 AM there was still no sign of repairs, leaving all guests waiting. In this sweltering heat, being unable to use the water was unbelievable; there was absolutely no recourse for the guests. I had no choice but to check out and leave! This is a long-established chain guesthouse, not just a bunch of people gathered in a group chat. They have no way to handle unexpected problems, the room facilities are old and dilapidated, and the experience was so poor, yet they charge over five-star rates. I advise everyone not to be misled by the trendy photos when choosing this place!"

We were surprised to find that Xintiandi Leisure Park was only about 5 minutes from Songyang's old town, making it very convenient by car. Parking was easy, getting around was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a perfect place for a relaxing stay with family. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable."

"Staying at Yunyin Mountain Retreat was my most satisfying choice in Songyang. It was tranquil and elegant, and the experience exceeded my expectations! Opening the window revealed distant mountains shrouded in mist, wisps of smoke rising from chimneys, and the air filled with the fresh scent of grass and trees. It was so quiet you could hear the mountain wind rustling through the forest – truly the idyllic retreat I'd always dreamed of. The room was my absolute favorite, with its rustic elegance. Old wooden beams and rammed earth walls paired with warm yellow lighting created a wonderful atmosphere. The two 1.8-meter king-size beds were incredibly thoughtful – spacious, comfortable, and with just the right firmness. The farm-style dinner was also a delightful surprise. The stir-fried beef with green peppers was tender and flavorful, the shrimp were bouncy and sweet, and there were refreshing seasonal vegetables and a comforting soup – every bite was authentically mountain flavor. I stayed here for two nights and felt completely healed. I definitely want to come back!"

"This trip to Da Le Zhi Ye wasn't as wonderful as I'd hoped. Perhaps because it's only been open for three months, some infrastructure is still under construction, which affected the scenery and safety somewhat. The room I stayed in had a balcony and courtyard facing a dilapidated farmhouse, offering no view whatsoever. During the day, villagers and construction workers would often sneak through the yard. We pre-ordered a three-person set meal for dinner, which was delicious. Breakfast was also good, and the service was attentive – a big thumbs up! The 15-minute drive up the mountain was extremely difficult. The receptionist could use a more approachable driver; after all the effort of driving to the guesthouse, a lack of enthusiasm can make the experience uncomfortable. Other services were excellent. By the way, although the road up the mountain was rugged, there was a beautiful small waterfall."

"Drive from Shaoxing to Songyang and choose to stay at Zhixiang B&B in the city. The B&B is in an alley next to Songyang Old Street. When you are almost there, you can call the owner and they will come out to pick you up. The owner is very warm and friendly. They will help you carry your luggage and introduce us to nearby food. They will also specifically remind us to wear long pants or spray mosquito repellent for fear of mosquito bites in the village. Fortunately, we were not bitten during this trip to Songyang. I feel like I'm being taken care of by my parents This is a renovation of an old building from the Qing Dynasty, with hundreds of years of history. I personally like its antique style. When I first stepped into this old house, I felt like I had traveled through time. It can also be said that I have been well integrated into the history of Songyang. We chose a loft-type room with a small living room on the first floor and a double tatami bed on the second floor. The bed was very comfortable and we fell asleep soon after lying down. When I woke up the next day, I had to praise the breakfast here! Breakfast consists of several side dishes prepared by the owner himself, including seasonal vegetables, Songyang specialties, etc. I really like the bamboo shoots, which are pickled and very tasty, crispy and go well with rice! There is also soy milk, porridge, steamed buns, etc., very attentive and exquisite! You can enjoy a unique family dinner in the main hall on the first floor! I chose this place because I think the location is good. It is very convenient for eating, staying and going to other villages. I also like the decoration style here. The price per night is very affordable. The owner is also very warm and friendly. It's very good! If you come to Songyang, you can consider living here!"

"I stumbled upon information about ancient villages in Songyang on a social media platform, so I booked tickets, transportation, and accommodation two days in advance. The sheer number of guesthouses in Songyang was overwhelming. Choosing Jiushe was purely by chance. Beforehand, I only had a basic impression from photos and reviews. On the day I arrived, it was drizzling, and the valley was shrouded in mist, making it feel like a fairyland. "Wild horses, dust, and living things breathing each other." Everything was too beautiful. Although there was a flight of stairs from the parking lot to the lobby, hotel staff helped with our luggage. The guesthouse was especially quiet during the off-season. The rooms were scattered across different hillsides, creating a harmonious yet undisturbed atmosphere. The welcoming dog, Xiao Jiu, and the wild-spirited golden shaded dog, Dandelion, completely melted the hearts of even those of us who don't usually like animals. My room, number 6, was spacious, divided into three areas. The room used a smart system, and the lighting and ventilation kept the temperature at a comfortable level. The bed was large and of just the right firmness; even for someone like me who's not a good sleeper, the room's perfect temperature, humidity, and bedding ensured I wouldn't have trouble sleeping. I had a wonderful two nights here and would love to come back."
