GGuest UserRather than saying that this is a B&B, it is better to say that this is a small house that carries the leisurely life attitude of a couple.
This small house was renovated from an old house. It took half a year. Every object in the small house was collected by the landlord and his two lovers. Except for the wooden frame and yellow rammed earth, which were kept as they were, the interior layout was completely renovated. It is very modern and simple, providing residents with convenience and comfort in life, while retaining the tranquility and simplicity of people in the mountains beside the stream. I particularly like the wide wooden water table by the window, where I can read a book while listening to the gurgling stream.
When we arrived at the parking lot in Songyang, the hostess had already greeted us in the parking lot. The male host with a baby face also came up to us halfway with a smile. As soon as we arrived at the store, we were served in a big bowl. Iron and grapefruit tea is so warm! Dinner was also arranged at the B&B. The host was a good man who knew how to cook. Several of the dishes were colorful and flavorful and must be praised, including the breakfast the next morning, which was both nutritious and delicious. It must be said that families with children can also experience a backyard vegetable picking experience, which is very interesting for children living in the city!
The whole village of Songzhuang Village is not as big as Yangjiatang, and it is far away from the county seat, so there are fewer tourists. Relatively speaking, the visiting experience is very good. There is an ancient arch bridge in the village that was rated as a secret place in the south of the Yangtze River by National Geographic Magazine. It is covered with greenery. The moss is very beautiful from a distance and up close, and there are a lot of people taking pictures! We took a group photo with Xin and Lixia’s dog mother 123 on the bridge. Speaking of this little Chuanchuan, he is really a cute dog. My daughter also insisted on booking me to this hotel in Lixia because of it. I didn’t expect the experience. So good, I will definitely come again next time I have a chance!

The facilities in the room are of high quality and comfortable to live in. Downstairs is the residence of grandparents. They are warm and kind, and they can always give local treasure suggestions in eating and playing, giving people the warmth of going home.
Every morning, Grandma will take it to the early shop that the locals love to eat. Songyang cakes with fried dough sticks and soy milk, and they are not tired after eating for a few days. This cake is really good. There is meat filling in it. The roasted outside is burnt and tender. When I leave, I packed several.
This street has many old-fashioned, non-legacy shops, every day along the ancient street all the way home, upstairs comfortable rest, so not leisurely!

GGuihuaxiranThe room is very clean and tidy, and the comfort is great. I have never slept outside with such comfortable pillows, mattresses and quilts. I chose the attic room on the third floor. The bed is facing the window, allowing direct sunlight and sufficient heating at night. The hot water in the bath is not too hot, the bath is a bit cold, and the shower is okay. The store also thoughtfully prepared some disposable towels, which is very thoughtful. It’s great for people like me who don’t use outside towels! The landlord and his wife are very down-to-earth, and they also eat in the store in the evening. The local village is very quiet, and the sunset is beautiful. It is suitable for relaxing and renovating on weekends. The B&B I stayed in was the best in the whole village, and the decoration was all wooden. It should be very comfortable to sleep in the attic and listen to the chirping of insects in the summer!

GGuest UserMaoyuan Village is the second small village we chose to stay in. There are many original residents in the village. Many of the houses are newly built, but there are not many homestays. Momo traffic, chickens and dogs smell each other. 🏨 Songyang Taoli Fenfang B&B~ I wanted to experience the old Chinese courtyard accommodation, and I chose this 200-year-old quaint late Qing courtyard house. The characteristic Xuanshi wooden structure of Jiangsu and Zhejiang has been renovated through modern buildings. A section of mountain road twists and turns (this requires some driving skills) through one village after another, and finally arrived in the mountain concave. The village is not amazing, completely original, open the door in the morning, the stream is flowing, surrounded by green mountains, and the air is particularly fresh. 🥣 Mid-term and dinner: Book in advance at the homestay, what to eat, the rice coriander is fragrant, the price is moderate, the free-range chicken and duck meat is tight and fresh (I bought a basket when I left) and the vegetables are fresh and tender. After dinner, it is a special time to walk along the front of Xiaoxi Village and chat! Before leaving, the proprietress also sent her own tender bamboo shoots to us 🫰🏻

The house is clean beyond my expectation. The boss and his wife are a wonderful couple, fully reflecting the humanistic feelings of the homestay. I heard from the boss that the red camellia will bloom every April and May. It must be beautiful. I really want to see it. The boss also said that this house has a history of four or five hundred years. It is the mansion of Vice General Qi Jiguang. The appearance can see the traces of the age everywhere, but the decoration in the room is very warm and modern. In particular, the boss is really super enthusiastic and very talkative. Because it is off-season, we also upgraded the room for free. In the evening, I personally cooked a table of delicious food and invited us to eat, and waited until very late. I was really embarrassed. Oh, yes, I also took out my own rice wine and cooked it myself. I made the Dragon Boat Festival tea and invited us to taste it. SShengyiliaisuerchacengbuWe were traveling with our children and stayed in a suite. The room was clean, especially the quilts and bath towels, which were white as new. Every room was very tidy, and even our children, who are a little bit obsessed with mysophobia, praised it highly. The proprietress ordered dinner for us, but I forgot to pay until I left the hotel and was on my way home. I contacted the proprietress and added him on WeChat before transferring the money to him. They were very nice, especially the beautiful scenery next to the hotel, which really looked like a landscape painting. It was so beautiful that you could see it from the hotel window. GGuest UserThe room was clean and well-equipped, with parking available right outside. It's a 5-minute walk from Yangjiatang, making it perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning. The sunlight creates the most beautiful filter, making you glow.
P1: The breakfast the owner's mother-in-law prepared for us. We slept until after 10 a.m., but she still left a hot breakfast for us. How thoughtful! She even packed up some for us to eat on the way. 😄 The owner said she'd arrange this for us next time.
P2: The sunset shot taken right outside the B&B. Sitting outside, enjoying the breeze and stargazing. 💫
P3: We didn't have a car, so getting to the county town was inconvenient. That evening, the owner drove my niece and me to an alley off the old street for dinner (I forgot what it was called, but it's pictured). Thumbs up! I'll be back next time.
