Third time staying here. New owners purchased it in November. We had reservations at Three Blacksmiths. The BnB is a short walk from the restaurant. Highlights include: Free glass of wine or beer in the comfortable living room. Utilized the in room fireplace. And the breakfast was outstanding. Will definately be back.

We stayed at Hopkins Ordinary on a very cold and windy night. We arrive and were given a nice glass of wine. After dinner, we lit the fire next to our bed. Breakfast was perfect with a new item I never had but loved and then good coffee, eggs, a nice side of dressed greens , juice, and a homemade roll. Very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Great overnight stay. Brewery on the property. An upscale General store across the street with a cocktail bar and a Pizza Restaurant.
Then Copper Fox Distillery, restaurants, shops and antiques right across the bridge.
Close to Luray, Culpepper and lots of Wineries.

Our visit to Hopkins Ordinary B&B was a real treat with very comfortable accommodations (especially the bed!). Olivia and Katie are exceptional proprietors. Can’t say enough about the mouth watering breakfasts, very creative ingenious creations beautifully served and presented. We were spoiled.

Hopkins Ordinary was a great get away for my husband and I. Sherri and Kevin were great hosts! The B & B is clean, comfortable, easy check-in, and gourmet, delicious food! It's a great base for exploring the region. We already planned our next visit in the spring. :)

Loved our stay at Hopkins Ordinary! The room was lovely and the breakfast extraordinary. We went to Sperryville for the hiking and stayed for the beer. Olivia and Katie (the innkeepers) were welcoming and enthusiastic. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention Norman, the Innkeepers beagle who greeted us at the bar. What a treat!

Quaint, cozy and comfortable place. Charming bedroom, very spacious. Beautiful grounds and nice to walk around. Sweet porch off the Lavendar room with porch swing. Staff is wonderful. Courteous and friendly! Unique location walking distance to Three Blacksmiths

What a gem! The new owners are wonderful -- friendly, attentive, and responsive. And of course that includes the resident beagle, Norman! This historic home is gorgeous, and not too far from DC and minutes from Shenandoah National Park. We will definitely be back!
