I have stayed at this Motel for at least 15 years going/coming to/from Montana to/from Washington. Until this stay, it has always been a very pleasant experience. The beds are comfortable. The room cleanliness was satisfactory. However, the only light in this room was a tiny, low wattage bulb between the 2 beds. The light was so dim, we couldn't read anything (books, map, TV menu, trip plans, etc.). We called the front desk and spoke to Raymond (Manager/Owner?). We asked him for an additional light. He said he doesn't have any other lamps for any of the rooms, they just remodeled their rooms and all the rooms only have 1 small lamp between the beds. He said there were 2 rooms with overhead lights, but they were booked. I guess we could have read in the well lit bathroom, but who wants to do that ? We decided to watch TV, (too dim to read anything) and the LG TV screen was so dim, you could barely see it. There are no directions how to operate the TV, but we finally figured it out. There is a tiny A/C unit on the wall that cools unsuccessfully. The volume on the TV is set to a max volume of 48, which is quite low. We just turned it off since it was useless. We looked around for an ice machine and couldn't find one. We called Raymond back. He said they don't have an ice machine. One of us had a pleasant breakfast in the a.m. Raymond was there, and is a very pleasant man. Our stay was just sooo disappointing.
