Hotel Nadis

The Nadis lives up to all the positive reviews here: the rooms are well appointed, the staff are super helpful and the food is fantastic. Yes, it is a little way out of the city, so it pays to either have your own transport or plan ahead a little if using taxis, etc. The upside is that a) it's a lovely quiet location, and b) you have the Dachigam NP on your doorstep. We were told about Asiatic black bears coming down out of the upper reaches of the mountains as the hibernating season approaches, and that we could take an early morning walk with a naturalist/ranger to look for them: this was the most amazing experience, a walk in a beautiful autumnal forest...with 6 bears spotted and followed. If I have any quibbles it's that, it being very quiet at the hotel, the waiters rather 'hovered' too much at mealtimes...and there was no filter coffee at breakfast on ur last morning!

Our stay at Nadis was wonderful. All the accommodations from the rooms to the amenities were beautifully maintained and made our stay exquisite. The food was excellent and made to order. Amara was incredibly kind and not only made our stay very comfortable, she gave us great suggestions on things to see and try around the area as well. Highly recommend anyone to consider staying here!

If you’re looking for a place close to the city center, look no further! Nadis is a peaceful boutique hotel that offers amazing views of the surrounding Kashmiri mountains and greenery. The owner maintains the place with great care and attention to detail; our room came stocked with snacks and extra towels/blankets. The food is truly amazing and a great representation of Kashmiri cuisine. The best part: a golden retriever named Choti comes to greet you at the lobby! Highly highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful decor and garden, delicious food, and exceptional staff. A relaxing, peaceful retreat in Srinigar - would highly recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will certainly be back if we’re in the area again!

I stayed at Nadis for 4 nights. I had a wonderful experience. The best thing about the hotel was its proximity to the Dachigam National Park (a scenic 15 minute walk away). It also has a convenient bus/ share cab service right outside that will take you to the lake and the sites near Dal. The hotel arranged a wonderful heritage walk for me and also arranged for an easy hike nearby with their in-house naturalist. The breakfast was excellent - filling and substantial with a good number of options. I enjoyed the masala chai so much I forgot to try the kahwa. Something to note is that its a bit noisy in the village-facing rooms and the walls between the rooms are also quite thin, in case you have noisy neighbours. Otherwise the rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. Choti the retriever was adorable and was always on call for a cuddle and a pat. I hope to go back again someday.

nadis is very far off from the main city, so it you are looking for something far away you can choose Nadis. We paid about 5000 per room with breakfast, honestly, that what it is worth of. the breakfast spread is average - putting different kinds of jam in the spread doesn't make a difference. they would tell you that everything is from farm to table - whereas their farm has the average lauki, gobi and tamatar.their breads are pathetic - they are using some random white breads with hard ends - when are are now in the whole of sourdoughs they haven't even reached brown breads. the hotel is tastefully done - if you are a design person you would enjoy the little details added to the hotel, the vintage furniture is adding up to the whole vibe. i had seen nadi's at shivesh( blogger) reel and trust me it looks nothing like the picture, the lawn is only there in the front and the cover photo is taken an at angle that makes it look very big, but the lawns are average. they also have rooms "village view" which means you are looking at the villagers garments hanging on the rod! so if you get the hotel for 5-6k with breakfast. its worth it. but now more than that. if you have ppl - like huge gathering you could consider this space.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nadis and the food is so so good . Loved their peanut salad & authentic Kashmiri cuisines . You might get stuck in traffic to reach there , but it’s all worth it . Staffs are very efficient and rooms are clean and functional .

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet part of Srinagar. Away from the tourist hordes. But gives you great Srinagar and Kashmir vibes together. Dal Lake is 4/5 kms away. But the mountains are next to you. Staff are great - friendly and flexible. Food is very good. And you can plan treks from here. Nice rooms. amenities available.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel - off the city crowd in the beautiful area of Harwan . The rooms are cozy, the service is top notch and the restaurant is to-die-for. The attention to flavors and detailing and the local flavors and home style dishes are worth a dine-out visit to this place. Special shout out to Ms.Amara - the perfect hostess, giving the place its casual and warm vibes. Also kudos to the entire restaurant team.
