Travelodge St Austell

It is the most friendly and sparkling clean TL we have been to. Although all TL seem to be equal, this one is definitly outstanding. We used an accessible room. When all Otter TL had no lid on the toiletseat, this one had and it so much nicer spend time in the bathroom for this reason. The faucets glitter and sparkle with cleanliness. The beds are seperate and provide a little privacy for each. (We are 2 female friends) The floors, walls, window sill, no spiderwebs, no dust. The reception personal extremly nice and helpful.

Had a super stay this weekend with a group of friends and fellow choir members from Vocalize. Tamsin was incredibly helpful, getting our rooms sorted, and recommended some local eateries when we asked about a Chinese restaurant nearby. We had such a brilliant group stay. Fantastic meal at the recommended restaurant New Garden in St Column. Followed by a brilliant end to our evening with live music in the attached pub who were also amazing serving breakfast the next day! Highly recommend 👌
Holiday Inn Express Bodmin - Victoria Junction

The hotel is in a suburb, the suburb of Bodmin, next to a highway service toll station, but there are few food at the toll station, just McDonald's, Subway and a Coop supermarket. If you want to go to Bodmin town for a meal, you can't do it without a car. Because it takes more than 2 hours to walk. So in theory, it should be normal to take away food. We bought food and prepared to eat in the hotel lobby, and then the front desk staff came and said that you can't eat, our place provides meals, and you can't eat takeaway food. To be honest, this is the first time I heard this reason. I'm not sitting in your restaurant, can't I eat takeaway in the lobby? I've stayed in many HIXes in the UK, and I came across this one, which was arrogant and acted like it had a reason. Other HIXes will let you use plates and knives and forks. This one will only drive people away. I thought they wanted me to buy their wine, so we bought it, and after buying it, they still drove people away. It was really annoying. Later I thought he was discriminating. Because the table next to me was eating pizza, so, see.
