Guest UserFirst of all, one sentence: So lucky! What a great experience! Treasure B&B!
(We changed to 201 when we arrived at the store. The following scenery was mainly taken in 201! There is also a public landscape balcony on the 4th floor where you can see an entire terraced field!)
Facilities: A newly opened B&B in September, but the hardware facilities are very good! Even the air conditioner is from COLMO! Oh my God! High end! This is a heavy copy! The teapot and cups are beautiful, the water heater heats up super fast, and there’s also a bathroom heater! The showers are all four in one!
Health: Very clean! Everything is new and clean, the glass is clean and the visibility is very good!
Environment: Superb! You can watch the sunset in the evening and the stars at night! It’s amazing to be able to see a large stretch of terraced fields during the day!
Service: The boss and the landlady are super enthusiastic! We drove here by car, and the boss parked our car for us, recommended routes to us, returned the car, picked us up and took us up and down the mountain, and even sent us to watch the sunrise (20/person). The boss was afraid that we would watch as the sun was setting on the way here. Stop and take photos of us every now and then! When leaving, Lao Wang was so moved that he hugged the boss and said he would come back next time!

I came to Zhaoxing Dong Village specifically to experience the Dong New Year and immerse myself in its festive atmosphere. The guesthouse is located near the Lituan Drum Tower; it's easy to find using a map, and the main street is just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and tidy, with all necessary toiletries provided. It was very quiet at night, and the landlady was warm and friendly. The Dong New Year parade, the traditional rice-making activity, the long table banquet, the Lusheng (a type of reed pipe instrument) competition, and the bonfire party were all part of the vibrant activities. I experienced the customs and traditions of the Dong people in southeastern Guizhou Province – a truly worthwhile trip. Finally, congratulations to the Lituan team for winning the Lusheng competition!

The homestay is not in the park, but fortunately there is a car to help pick up and drop off.
But if you want to drink coffee or eat something, you must enter the park. If you want to buy a cup of coffee this morning, you must find their car and you can drink it in the park. And that Dongzhai I really think is very funny, there is no management, the whole park is taking pictures, and tickets are also charged. Never come a second time. Boring
The cooking shop in the park is delicious.
Why did you take pictures? Because this cafe is more comfortable, the production is average, but the store is all travel photography. You don't have to pick it when you see a coffee shop. Hahaha
In the evening, there is a cake shop with a garden. The coffee is delicious. The Basque is delicious. But the name of the shop has forgotten to shoot.

To start with the good points, the service was indeed very good; the staff helped us carry our luggage upstairs. Books were also available for borrowing. The hotel's location was actually quite good; it wasn't on the main street, so it wasn't too noisy. It was also relatively close to the village entrance.
There were two things I didn't like:
First, the cleanliness: We were originally assigned a room with a mountain view (or something like that, not much of a view, since I haven't seen it, I don't know), but they upgraded us to a room with a river view. The tatami room had a strange pillar; to get to the other side, you had to step onto the bed or walk along the edge. Also, one of the bedside tables wasn't on the bedside table; we had to move it ourselves. Opening the drawers of both bedside tables, one had water left by the previous guest, and the other had a bag for clothes. The toilet paper roll we received had a section that was wet from the outside in.
Second, the facilities: I really want to complain about the bathroom. The water heater was right above the sink, and it was leaking (probably why the toilet paper was wet). Water kept dripping, soaking the toothbrush and other skincare products next to it. There wasn't even a place to put clothes in the shower. The placement of the toilet seat is problematic. Usually, it's placed outwards, so you can wear a cover to keep warm. But this one is placed all the way inwards, meaning you have to wear eight covers on top. As soon as you sit down, your legs will be freezing cold.

Wonderful homestay with all comforts. Modern amenities great wifi and close to centre but quiet. Excellent host who tried her best to communicate and make us feel comfortable. Great coffeshop on road nearby whose owner has perfect English ( and great coffee) who was a mine of information on local places to visit.

Guest UserThe room is big, the view is great, the balcony is the most comfortable, there is a stream outside the window, it is so pleasant to enjoy the view on the balcony at night, eat and drink, it is very close to the main street, but very quiet, quiet in the bustling, the children like it very much and don't want to leave, the proprietress is gentle and easy to talk to

Guest UserCons:
- stained towels and bed linen (I wouldn't care, but this hotel is 4 times more expensive than cheap hostels I usually stay in China, so I expect more)
- I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault)
- the staff doesn't speak English
Pros:
- It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing.
- The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :)
- Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China.
- The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate.
- I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries.

The hotel is in a quiet location close to the main street. The owner is warm and considerate. The wooden structure is very unique and the price is high. Recommended to stay

The service was excellent, the landlady was very friendly and kind. For the price, the facilities and scenery were exceptional, making it very cost-effective. The landlady readily upgraded our room because of the view of the rice paddies from the window. However, there are many hidden costs in this scenic area. Although the owner provided pick-up from the train station, you still need to pay an additional 20 yuan to get to the high-speed rail station. Parking at the entrance costs 20 yuan, and the daily entrance fee is 80 yuan. If you want to visit the rice terraces, you need to pay for a sightseeing bus. Personally, I didn't find any good food inside the scenic area.
In short, unless you have a strong fascination with the architecture of Guizhou's ethnic minorities, I wouldn't recommend coming here.

The owner of the B&B is awesome! The self-driving car gave a lot of parking and travel suggestions, and took the initiative to help with luggage. The location of the house is very good, very close to the main street, and it is not as noisy as the main street. There is a small bridge downstairs and flowing water, and the scenery outside the window is great! The key is to walk a few steps to get to the free tour bus station. It is very convenient to travel. I don’t know if it is due to the off-season. The room is very quiet at night and the curtains have good light-blocking properties. It is very comfortable to stay here! ! ! #room facilities
