”Our first trip to China was made unforgettable thanks to the incredible team at this hotel. Located right in the heart of the vibrant Tai’an Ancient Village, the hotel is surrounded by lively local shops and friendly faces.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted at the door by the owner (or manager) who personally helped with our luggage and escorted us to our room. Despite being busy preparing the restaurant on the first floor, every single staff member paused what they were doing just to wave and smile at us. It’s rare to find such a warm, genuine welcome these days!
A special shout-out to the receptionist who rushed from the kitchen to assist us. Even though there was a language barrier, their 'service level' was god-tier. She skillfully used a translation app and even created a WeChat group with 8 staff members just to ensure the two of us were well taken care of! Truly mind-blowing hospitality.
Our room on the 3rd floor (yes, there’s an elevator!) was pristine. We loved the welcome tea set, the natural light from the sunroof, and the stunning panoramic window view of the ancient village. It felt like stepping into a classic martial arts novel.
We fell in love with everything here—the hotel, the village, and the mountain. Our only regret is staying for just one night. Next time, we’re definitely booking for a full week!”

MM36209****Our time in Dujiangyan this trip was quite limited; we were out early and back late every day. I knew beforehand that there was no elevator here when choosing accommodation, but I still picked it for the courtyard. It's hard to fully express all the good things about this place, as I was traveling with my child and also working. Amidst constantly switching between roles, the space here provided me with a very comfortable experience. The cat kept my child company, and I could find a large solid wood desk for my work. The lighting design was excellent, and I enjoyed delicious coffee every day, watching the owner prepare our breakfast early in the morning. The room itself wasn't huge, but the fantastic common areas more than made up for it. You'd be more inclined to come out and sit, enjoying the courtyard views. You'll also love the beautiful cat.

MMei Fuay YapExcellent stay at a perfectly located hotel! The strategic location made it easy to explore DuJiangYan 蓝桥 (Blue Tears) scene, with a great variety of restaurants and shops nearby.
As the hotel is located in the old DuJiangYan town. Our car is not allowed to drive in. The hotel staff was so kind, he walked out from the hotel and guided us to the hotel.
The owner was exceptionally helpful—the staff promptly assisted us with the issue of the water heater not working in the rooms. The owner also helped us to make a dinner reservation at a restaurant. Fruit baskets and tea are served for supper at night too. The hotel rooms are clean and have a good view over the 蓝桥(Blue Tears) and a small jacuzzi at the room's balcony.
Highly recommend for both convenience and outstanding, caring service!

GGuest UserThe room was great, very spacious, and came with some really tasty snacks, especially the crispy dates – they had a good variety too! The service was excellent; the front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were very warm and helpful. They responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. The facilities were good, and the location was super convenient, right in Darong City with lots of local eateries nearby, and close to the Dujiangyan scenic area.

MmrccccatEscaped the city smog with my kids for the weekend, came up to the mountains to relax in the hot springs and hike. The owner's family was very welcoming. We chose to eat all our meals at their place, and the food was delicious – highly recommend the Tai'an fish! The room facilities were complete, clean, and tidy. They even turned on the air conditioning for us before we checked in, which was a very thoughtful touch.

AAnonymous UserThis was my first time staying at the Peninsula Yuan Hot Spring Hotel, and I'm officially a fan! The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful and proactively upgraded my room, which was such a pleasant surprise. The new room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was unbelievably soft – once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. The whole-house voice control was super convenient, totally freeing up my hands! The service was warm and attentive, making for an excellent experience. I'll definitely choose this place again next time! I do have one suggestion: the smart speaker (Xiao Du) is plugged into one of the bedside outlets. There are only two wall outlets by the beds in total, so if two people are traveling, Xiao Du takes up one, which is quite inconvenient. I'd suggest plugging Xiao Du into an outlet on the desk near the entrance instead.

YYezigaoCame to Dujiangyan for a marathon and picked this hotel randomly. They were very thoughtful, sending the shuttle bus route in advance and providing bread for runners who missed breakfast. The rooftop is beautiful, but it's a shame there are no dining options up there. The location is great; you can easily walk to Dujiangyan from here.

Just a street away, there's a coffee shop and places to try local specialties like ginkgo nut stewed chicken (a traditional intangible cultural heritage dish) and glutinous rice balls in fermented rice wine soup. The hotel is also very close to Xinjianmen and the scenic shuttle bus parking lot, making it ideal for a morning hike up the mountain.

MMs LingThe not so great:
- Very dusty. Contacted the hotel to come and clean and when ayi arrived they literally flicked around and we had to point out the areas. We found more dusty areas, sent to hotel reception and nothing got done
- We asked for room clean on one of the days and was very specific about changing bed linen. Nothing got done yet again and they claimed we had personal items on bed. Only had pyjamas on one of the beds and all others were free.
- Although there's a kitchen, there's no plates, bowls, cutleries whatsoever
- When we arrived reception kept asking about our port of arrival and kept calling to the point of annoyance. Some training could be useful to deal with non mainland tourists
The good:
- Location is very close to Sunac land and snow park, and pretty convenient for everything else
- Nice play bricks (not Lego) and children areas, and playground downstairs
- Nice and safe complex
