The room was well-appointed and cozy, with good quality amenities, and it was spotlessly clean. The front desk even proactively recommended some great local restaurants. LLanJiangWhen you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.
Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.
We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path. We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.
I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.
A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

GGuest UserFacilities: Fully equipped, even with kids' slippers and toothbrushes which my baby loved. The private hot spring is free and activated by card, with excellent water pressure, though it takes a while to fill the large tub. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Close to Yangtianwo Square and Lidui Park Station, just a 5-6 minute walk. You can reach the Blue Tears along the riverside path. It's very convenient for getting around, and the guesthouse surroundings are quiet. Service: Family-friendly, overall very satisfied.

GGuest UserI stayed at this guesthouse during my trip to Chengdu. It's super convenient for getting around, and there are tons of restaurants right downstairs. The guesthouse itself is very clean and well-organized inside, with excellent ventilation and natural light. The room layout is practical and standard, and the bedding is comfortable and spotless. They even gave us three delicious 'babagan' (honey tangerines) when we checked in!
The host is incredibly service-oriented and also very pretty! Communication was efficient and smooth, responses were timely and spot-on, and she handled issues with patience and meticulousness. Her service process is standardized and orderly, showing a strong sense of responsibility and service professionalism. It rained the night we checked in and needed to go out for dinner, and the host proactively offered us an umbrella! The living atmosphere is great, and it offers outstanding value for money, resulting in an excellent overall stay. Although there were a few minor hiccups due to personal issues on my end, the host was incredibly helpful in resolving them. She even gave us a small gift before we checked out! I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Dujiangyan or nearby scenic spots!

JJintianbuchiyezijiThe room is spacious, and the location is excellent. You can easily walk to Lidui Park, and from there, it's just a short stroll to the Dujiangyan scenic area. The aunties working at the hotel were also super polite. On a side note, I'd like to recommend a restaurant not far from the hotel; it's delicious, affordable, and offers large portions, and the owner is really nice. There's also a breakfast place nearby, called 'Haoyou Lai Noodle Restaurant,' which is cheap, has generous portions, and the owner is equally friendly.

AalespbLoved the stay despite it was just a night! Apparently I was the first foreigner who has booked to stay at this place which was turned from an old house of theirs. Worry not, everything was new and perfect! I believe that the family aka the hostel owner has put in a lot of effort ,looking at the detail of all corners. For location wise, it’s at a quieter side of the town which takes less than 10min walking from the train station and the giant panda . It could be very quiet at night after 10pm especially for solo female traveller like me. Breakfast was simple yet very healthy and nice. Thanks for the hospitality and showing me the shortcut to get to the giant panda!

GGuest UserToo late to study the reviews, booked this hotel in a hurry. Many good found after check-in. The counter kindly offered to provide travel news, and found that the missing can be dealt with immediately. An extra chair and a few hangers are also provided. There is a primary school nearby, it is very lively in the evening, and there are many food stalls. There are many foods around, steamed buns, fried rice cover, pasta... all delicious and fair prices, and I will miss it after eating. The transportation location is convenient and luggage storage can be provided.
