SSarah Welsh1We have just had the most amazing 2 night stay here and it was perfection! The hotel is situated high in the mountains but only 20 minutes away from Panda Valley. The rooms were very clean and are supplied with everything you could need. The views were exceptional and we instantly fell in love with this place! The hotel is well worth the price paid. There are evening meals available but it is also possible to order takeaway from the restaurants in the city to deliver. The WiFi worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water for the showers and the spring water spa bath in the room. The beds were huge and so comfortable, it was blissful! The customer service was the greatest! The staff were happy to help with every request and were so friendly, they really made the stay memorable. The staff helped with small items such as mosquito spray (although it wasn’t needed), lighters and other items we had forgotten. They also helped us to book our tickets and arrange our trips for the following days to the temple and Panda Valley. They also went out of their way to drive us to these places and made sure we were able to get inside as we don’t read Chinese! As I said, exceptional service! We very much look forward to staying here again and highly recommend to anyone. Thank you to all of the staff at Sanmoun Villas for a wonderful and unforgettable stay 🥰

GGuest UserThe room was great, very spacious, and came with some really tasty snacks, especially the crispy dates – they had a good variety too! The service was excellent; the front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were very warm and helpful. They responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. The facilities were good, and the location was super convenient, right in Darong City with lots of local eateries nearby, and close to the Dujiangyan scenic area.

GGuest User## Location Located just outside Tai'an Ancient Town, with the back entrance of Mount Qingcheng easily reachable on foot. It offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, and dining and shopping are convenient nearby, despite not being directly on the main street. The guesthouse is situated a bit higher up on the hillside. While there is some parking available, spaces are limited, especially during holidays when you might need to park on the slope. They do have EV charging stations. ## Facilities The common areas are pleasant and relaxing, and the bathroom fixtures are of good quality. However, the showerhead in the room was a bit worn. The hot spring bathtub is fantastic, especially for unwinding after a tiring hike. The complimentary toiletries are quite good. There's a lovely path winding around the courtyard, complete with swings. Besides the winding road for vehicles, there are also two sets of steps for pedestrians, offering a quicker and easier way to get to and from the guesthouse. ## Service The staff proactively helped with luggage upon both check-in and check-out. They sell swimsuits for all ages. A small tip: bringing a small basin can enhance your bathing experience in the tub or hot spring. Mineral water is supplied generously, so there's no need to carry bottles up from the base of the mountain. Breakfast was just okay. ## Hygiene The staff clearly puts a lot of effort into keeping the courtyard tidy, often clearing fallen leaves early in the morning. However, room cleaning needs to be requested at the front desk; otherwise, it can easily be overlooked.

XXXX-777Highly recommended! It's only a 10-minute drive from the train station and close to the entrance of Mount Qingcheng. The environment is very quiet and comfortable, and the staff at the front desk are also very nice. The location is super convenient (close to the front mountain entrance or the high-speed rail station).

GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I’m happy to share my experience! The room was exceptionally spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The modern toilet was a standout feature – clean, stylish, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the hotel’s hot spring facilities, which were incredibly relaxing and offered a wonderful way to unwind after hiking at青城后山. The local home-cooked breakfast was delicious, setting us up perfectly for the day ahead. What really made our stay memorable, though, was the amazing service from the boss. He was incredibly helpful and approachable, going above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. After checkout, he even helped us hail and contact Didi driver, which was a huge convenience. One down side was the wrong advice given and wasted our 30mins walk to find cable car back to town had already ended service and we had to find our way down ourselves. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great service, comfort, and thoughtful touches.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Dujiangyan is really great. The environment is comfortable, it's clean, and the value for money is excellent. The young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and provided thoughtful service. She even compiled a list of nearby routes and sent it to me. The location is also very convenient, right near Lanqiao, and there are many snack options just outside. You can walk to Xuanhua and Lanqiao in just a few minutes. Plus, the room comes with disposable towels, which is a nice touch for convenience. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again next time I visit!

YYezigaoCame to Dujiangyan for a marathon and picked this hotel randomly. They were very thoughtful, sending the shuttle bus route in advance and providing bread for runners who missed breakfast. The rooftop is beautiful, but it's a shame there are no dining options up there. The location is great; you can easily walk to Dujiangyan from here.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied! The environment is great, very clean, with no strange odors, and it feels simple yet luxurious. The bathroom has a rain shower and is designed with a wet/dry separation, and the bedding is comfortable. Most importantly, the owner is incredibly kind. They picked us up from the high-speed rail station and dropped us off there, helped us plan our itinerary, and even booked a car for us to Qingcheng Mountain. We also ordered a pot of chicken soup at the hotel one evening; it felt very healthy and tasted delicious and fresh. Anyone with good taste won't go wrong choosing this place, and the hotel is also very photogenic!

AAnonymous UserWe are a family of 5 traveling together, and there are limited housing options. There are not many family suites of this type. Compared with other room types, ours has basically no view, but it is big enough for you to live in. The environment of the B&B is very quiet, the owner is very enthusiastic and nice, and we will pick you up and drop you off at Tai'an Ancient Town. The boss's family business also opened a restaurant in Tai'an Ancient Town. The restaurant's dishes are very local and the dishes recommended by the boss are all delicious, especially the homemade bacon, which can be purchased and mailed. If I go to Qingcheng Back Mountain again, I will choose here again.
