MM304639****Facilities: The whole house is smart home, which is very convenient, and the smart toilet is also very comfortable.
Service: The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The meat buns, millet porridge, and yogurt pancakes were all incredibly tasty. You can also order à la carte for lunch and dinner; I tried the blood sausage, milk tea, and cold oat noodles, and they were all excellent. In short, if you're visiting a volcano, I highly recommend considering this guesthouse! 🫡

AAnonymous UserThe volcano homestay in Ulanqab is really a treasure trove! The biggest surprise of this stay was the authentic roasted lamb leg. The skin is baked golden and crispy, and the meat inside is tender and juicy. Every bite is the ultimate temptation for the taste buds. The environment of the B&B is also great. There are spectacular volcanoes outside the window, and you can look up at the starry sky at night. It is extremely romantic. The service is also very considerate. The boss is warm and thoughtful. He helps with luggage when you arrive, making you feel at home. He will also call you before check-in to introduce travel tips. All in all, I was very satisfied with this experience. I would like to come here again on my next trip to enjoy the double feast of food and beautiful scenery!

GGuest UserI thought it would just be a standard yurt, but it turned out to be a hidden gem of a hotel deep in the grasslands! It was clean, warm, and when I opened the window, all I saw was endless green. At night, I could see a sky full of stars; I was completely healed. A yurt in the heart of the grasslands, under a starry sky. All I heard was the wind, the crackle of the bonfire, and the aroma of roast lamb. It turns out that 'poetry and distant lands' really do exist. Come to the grasslands; anxiety is forbidden here 🫰

AAiwujiwudekaixinmaI searched countless hotels for a yurt, but they all said the conditions were subpar until I found this one.
The bed was the first thing that caught my eye; it was unique. The reviews were also great, but the main attraction was the large grassland, so I decided on it.
It was past 11 PM on check-in day, and the owner was still waiting for us. Let me share some reviews of each aspect.
First, the location: It's very close to the Volcano Scenic Area. People say the Volcano South Visitor Center is crowded and causes traffic jams, but I asked the owner, and he said there's an intersection very close to the hotel where you can enter. You can just buy a ticket later, saving you a long, crowded journey.
Rooms: We booked a yurt, and there are also cabins. Our yurt was quite large, with a clean floor that made you want to walk barefoot. The bathroom was simple but clean (though the door was a bit low).
Service: The owner was very kind. My child had diarrhea on arrival, and the next day he was very considerate and asked about his condition. Finally, a word about the beautiful scenery: The grasslands behind the mountain are so stunning! We spent half a day taking photos there, and I almost forgot to go to Huanghuagou. Hahaha.
It was a very satisfying stay and I've already recommended it to friends and family.
(P.S.: There was a bonfire party that evening, but we arrived too late and didn't attend.)

Cleanliness: Clean and cozy; it's rare to find such clean and cozy accommodation in such a remote location.
Environment: The filming location for ”Goodbye My Love,” the surrounding area is quiet, and the residents are all locals, very kind and simple. You can see a shepherd herding sheep right outside the door. There are bonfire activities and fireworks at night.
Service: Everyone was very warm and attentive. When we arrived, our room was on the shady side and a bit cold. Worried that our child might get cold at night, the manager kindly upgraded us to a larger room on the sunny side. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Cleanliness: The cleanliness was so-so. Upon entering the room, I saw a long hair on the tea table, and there was a handwritten label on the bath towel – a bit odd.
Service: The staff's service attitude was okay, but they were a bit overwhelmed with customers, and check-in was a bit slow.
Facilities: I briefly set up the air conditioning for heating, but it wouldn't turn on; I'm not sure if it was a settings issue. The room phone wasn't connected; I had to find the number online to contact the front desk.
There was no welcome gift upon departure, but they gave me one when I asked if I could take the toiletries kit.
Overall, my experience at this Ji Hotel was just average; the details weren't great. I chose this hotel because of its location and the free admission ticket.

LLiu ya zhenI've never stayed in a yurt before, and I prefer guest rooms. I searched online for a long time before my trip and found this place that had guest rooms, and it was a newly opened hotel last year, so I booked it without hesitation. In September, the grassland was already turning yellow, there were relatively few people, the air was excellent, and the sky was high and clear. It was a bit chilly, though—6℃ outside and 28℃ inside. The air conditioning was very effective, and they even had electric blankets! The service was excellent, but unfortunately, there wasn't a bonfire party because there weren't many guests. Otherwise, it was great and highly recommended!

JJHuntBooked in here by mistake 😂 (i took a train to Shangdu, which is not the same place as Xanadu!! (Its about 4 hours away)… the hotel is gorgeous though; huge, modern rooms and a great breakfast too. Watched a midnight storm through the huge floor to ceiling windows. One of those high end gems you find in China because they have the money to build places such as this. I probably wont come back to Shangdu again (although it does break up the train journey from Hohhot to the real Xanadu) but if i do, its an obvious, top grade option. Lovely staff too, who helped me with my train bookings.

GGuest UserWe were traveling with our elderly relatives and children. Our hotel was right at the south gate of Huanghuagou Scenic Area. We arrived around 7 PM, grabbed a quick bite, and then joined the bonfire party at 8 PM. It was quite cold on the grassland, so both the elderly and children were wearing down-lined jackets. We stayed in a double room in the Beile suite; the blankets were thick, and the air conditioning was very strong. You have to shower quickly, otherwise the other person has to wait for the water to heat up again. The only downside was the persistent smell of the toilet! We checked out of the hotel at 10 AM, and after that, we went to see the earliest performance of the Xianghui Aobao show, after which we could enter the Huanghuagou Scenic Area.
