GGuest UserThis guesthouse is located at the highest point of the prairie, perfect for stargazing at night. The temperature difference between day and night is significant. If it's too cold outside at night, you can opt for a stargazing room and watch the stars from your bed. In the morning, you can enjoy the prairie sunrise. The hygiene and basic facilities are well-maintained. When staying on the prairie, you shouldn't expect city hotel standards; the main point is to experience spending a night there, and this place certainly didn't disappoint. They offer meals like roast lamb chops, which are quite tasty. The proprietress is very kind, thoughtful, and attentive. If you're interested, you can also join the bonfire party at night, though it's more like an outdoor disco, so don't set your expectations too high. Overall, I highly recommend this guesthouse to friends.

JJdalajiaoThe B&B owner was incredibly hospitable, and to my surprise, the room was spotless. Even though it snowed the next day, the room stayed warm – truly excellent. We had dinner at their place, and every dish was delicious. The 'shou ba rou' (hand-grabbed meat), 'ban you mian' (mixed oat noodles), and lamb noodle soup were all very popular, but the milk tea was especially outstanding – the best we've had on our entire trip. There was even a bonfire party in the evening; despite the cold, everyone's enthusiasm kept the chill away. We also got to set off fireworks, and the owner offered very fair prices. The kids absolutely loved it! We went during the May Day holiday, so the grass hadn't turned green yet and it was still a bit cold. The owner recommended visiting after June 20th, so we might have to go back in the summer.

GGuest UserWhere the wind blows low and cattle and sheep are seen~ This guesthouse blends seamlessly with the Ulan Hada volcano landscape! Open the window to a magnificent view of the volcanoes, and fall asleep under the Milky Way at night. The guesthouse itself is very stylish, with a unique Mongolian milk slice coffee. The restaurant offers stir-fries and hotpot, and the adjacent hot spring center is just a stone's throw away. The facilities are all-encompassing, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. In the evening, we enjoyed a high-quality beef and lamb hotpot at the stunning restaurant, followed by an outdoor hot spring soak – pure bliss. The staff were warm and attentive, making the overall experience perfect! This was the most satisfying guesthouse of our trip.

GGuest UserIm impressed by Atour group of hotels. This one located in Ulanqab didnt disappoint either. Its amentities, decor, cleanliness, service, bed, pillow and facilities are all top notch for a fraction of the price. It really puts Western hotel brands to shame. Almost anything that you could think of, Atour hotel has probably though of it already. They even provide alcohol wipes for sanitary purposes. There is even free self service laundry.
Do yourself a favour, when you travel in China, skip the big western hotels and give Atour a go. You will be so spoilt that you wished other hotels has such service and amenities. Im only saying this because i booked Atour hotels by chance a few years back and now that I am back traveling in China, they are even better than before.
Its also nearby the high speed rail station, so its convenient as well.

Cleanliness: Clean and cozy; it's rare to find such clean and cozy accommodation in such a remote location.
Environment: The filming location for ”Goodbye My Love,” the surrounding area is quiet, and the residents are all locals, very kind and simple. You can see a shepherd herding sheep right outside the door. There are bonfire activities and fireworks at night.
Service: Everyone was very warm and attentive. When we arrived, our room was on the shady side and a bit cold. Worried that our child might get cold at night, the manager kindly upgraded us to a larger room on the sunny side. Thank you! 🙏🏻

GGuest UserThe room was fairly comfortable and the service was really great. But we kept finding little beetles in our room which made me so itchy at night when sleeping. Also I don’t think they cleaned the floor because we found fake eyelashes and old contact lens on the bathroom floor which was very nasty. They have a washing machine available which was very convenient especially after spending a day in the volcanoes where it’s dusty and all our clothes were dirty. Breakfast was alright…typical inner Mongolian breakfast, nothing special. There’s actually no volcano view but it didn’t really matter much. We were on the second floor and it was nice to be up there. I wish they had better soundproofing windows because every night there’s fireworks and they were so loud and went on until midnight. With a young child, it was impossible to sleep early. Overall, the service was really great!

Cleanliness: The cleanliness was so-so. Upon entering the room, I saw a long hair on the tea table, and there was a handwritten label on the bath towel – a bit odd.
Service: The staff's service attitude was okay, but they were a bit overwhelmed with customers, and check-in was a bit slow.
Facilities: I briefly set up the air conditioning for heating, but it wouldn't turn on; I'm not sure if it was a settings issue. The room phone wasn't connected; I had to find the number online to contact the front desk.
There was no welcome gift upon departure, but they gave me one when I asked if I could take the toiletries kit.
Overall, my experience at this Ji Hotel was just average; the details weren't great. I chose this hotel because of its location and the free admission ticket.

AAnonymous UserThe yurt-type B&B we stayed in did not have air conditioning, so we relied on the hot kang for heating at night. In a place like Ulanqab, it was too cold at night to take a shower. When we woke up in the morning, there was suddenly no water. It was said that the water supply system was broken. It was repaired, but we had other itineraries and couldn't wait for repairs. In the end, we had to spend money to buy mineral water to wash up. It was a very embarrassing accommodation experience.

Facilities: It has just been opened for a few days, and the facilities are very new. The bedding is very clean. The boss actually uses mattresses in the campsite. It is so surprising, especially the quilt is super comfortable and warm.
Hygiene: I am a person who cares very much about housing conditions, especially bathrooms and shower rooms. I didn’t want to take a shower in a public shower room, so I went to visit it first. After the visit, I was surprised that it was very clean, so I took a quick shower before going to bed. Take a hot bath to relieve the fatigue of the day.
Here comes the key point: the service is great! The service is great! The service is great! Say important things three times. The boss and all employees are very approachable, speak politely, and communicate like friends. Especially the little beauty Rong Rong, who is beautiful, kind-hearted, super cute and polite.
Generally speaking, the most amazing thing about this trip to Ulanqab is not the scenic spots, but this camping trip. As a first-time camping person, I fell in love with it every minute. It gave me this kind of experience in a fast-paced city. People who are busy at work can relax like never before. Thumbs up👍👍👍

GGuest UserThe resort has a great environment, the room is very clean, and has air conditioning. It is not cold at all when sleeping at night, and you can see the sunset from the room. Breakfast and dinner are also in the resort, and the taste is OK. There is a bonfire party and fireworks in the evening, and the children have a lot of fun! I will choose to stay here next time I come to Ulanqab!
