Specifically brought the kids here for Children's Day. The guesthouse environment is great, with a starry sky yurt and convenient parking. They even prepared snacks and drinks in the room. The surrounding area is beautiful and very close to the volcano attractions. The hotel also provided discount vouchers for hot spring tickets. Dining is convenient, and breakfast is excellent, with kids' meals available. On weekend evenings, they even arranged a bonfire and fireworks.

We upgraded to the Muyun Grassland Courtyard room, and the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room exceeded our expectations. The stunning views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were just as breathtaking as in the pictures. The bedding was very comfortable, and the automatic blackout curtains worked perfectly, ensuring a great night's sleep. From the guesthouse courtyard, you can directly see the volcano; the sunset was beautiful, and at night, you could gaze at a sky full of stars. The guesthouse is only a few hundred meters from the entrance of the Ulan Hada Volcano Scenic Area, a ten-minute walk or a one-minute drive, which was incredibly convenient. We ended up visiting the scenic area both the day before and the day after our one-night stay! The food in the restaurant was also delicious, with all dishes freshly stir-fried. The staff, both the young men and women, were exceptionally warm and attentive, anticipating our needs and offering great advice for visiting the volcano. Thanks to one of the staff's recommendations, we set out around 4 or 5 PM in June and witnessed the most beautiful Volcano No. 5 at sunset! I would honestly come back to Ulan Hada just to stay at this hotel again!

Choosing Shan Yin Qi Zhu was absolutely the right decision for our family trip to Ulan Hada! The room was spacious and bright, plenty of room for my three-year-old to run and play. There's also an enclosed small courtyard where he immediately started playing freely, so we didn't have to constantly watch him. The owner even gave free fireworks to the kids, and my son played so much he didn't want to come back inside. The breakfast, with its buns and millet porridge, was light and perfect for my child's taste. The owner also gave us some homemade, additive-free milk candy, which my son clutched and ate the whole way. It’s only about a twenty-minute drive to the volcano, and the owner even recommended a less crowded, gentle slope route, which made climbing with a child totally manageable. Our whole family had a fantastic time, I highly recommend this place for families with kids!

Im impressed by Atour group of hotels. This one located in Ulanqab didnt disappoint either. Its amentities, decor, cleanliness, service, bed, pillow and facilities are all top notch for a fraction of the price. It really puts Western hotel brands to shame. Almost anything that you could think of, Atour hotel has probably though of it already. They even provide alcohol wipes for sanitary purposes. There is even free self service laundry. Do yourself a favour, when you travel in China, skip the big western hotels and give Atour a go. You will be so spoilt that you wished other hotels has such service and amenities. Im only saying this because i booked Atour hotels by chance a few years back and now that I am back traveling in China, they are even better than before. Its also nearby the high speed rail station, so its convenient as well.

The day before yesterday, they were very welcoming. They came out to greet us before the car even stopped and helped with our luggage. Very hospitable. The room had terrible soundproofing. We could hear the neighbor showering very clearly; it was very noisy. The water heater in the bathroom stated that there was a 30-minute wait before the next person could shower, but after waiting for an hour, there was still no hot water. We had to move to another room to shower, but the front desk wasn't very happy about it. They wouldn't let us use the empty room next door and insisted we move to a smaller room. The food in the restaurant wasn't even properly heated before being served. We decided to drive out to eat.

The hotel is large, with spacious corridors and large rooms, and all necessary toiletries are provided. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, ensuring good privacy. There are motion-activated nightlights throughout the room, which is very safe. I must say, the hairdryer dries hair very quickly and is excellent. The hotel is quite new, and there's even a children's play area on the first floor. We set off fireworks outside the hotel. The hotel breakfast offers a variety of local specialties, including shumai, steamed buns, milk tea, yogurt, boiled eggs, fried rice, fries, fruit, and a vegetable salad. You'll definitely be full.
