GGuest UserI really didn't expect the homestay next to the volcano to have such a delicious meal! Before I came, I had prepared to eat around the scenic spot and it was expensive and unpalatable. As a result, the hotel restaurant directly served me. First of all, breakfast surprised me. The lamb roasted wheat skin was thinly stuffed, and the juice was bursting in one mouth. There were steamed buns and hot millet porridge. It was too comfortable to eat. For dinner, we ordered the meat and roast lamb chops, which are freshly killed fresh lamb, sprinkled with dried ingredients to the feet, and the horse milk wine is also very authentic, which is mellower than I drank in Hohhot city before. The boss also sent us homemade milk scallops and milk chewing mouth to try, pure and no added milk fragrance is particularly sufficient, we also bought several packs to take home to send friends, just for this stutter I am willing to live again!

GGuest UserAdvantages: 1. The guesthouse is quite beautiful, and there are many room types. The family room I chose was perfect for a family of four.
2. The rooftop terrace is absolutely gorgeous at sunset – a must-see!
3. It's very new, and the bathroom facilities are good. However, newness is also a drawback; our room had a strong odor.
Overall, it's much better than those so-called camping tents nearby, and it's not expensive.
Disadvantages: 1. There's almost no service. I didn't see anyone at the front desk from the moment I arrived. The owner sent me a WeChat message telling me to open the door myself with a password. Checking out was the same; I just left on my own.
2. Breakfast is quite late. We stayed at about six different places that day, and three of them were waiting for breakfast at the restaurant entrance. We waited for half an hour. Everyone knows you need to enter the volcano early to avoid the crowds. It would be great if the restaurant opened breakfast earlier.
Tip: If you're driving to the volcano, you need to enter from the south and exit from the north. This restaurant is on the north side, meaning you need to drive to the south gate about half an hour early to avoid traffic.

AAnonymous UserFirst off, the location is truly excellent, a unique advantage. There's a hot spring hotel right next door where you can enjoy a soak. However, the overall management and service facilities are severely lacking! Let's start with the hygiene: urine stains on the toilet seat, hair everywhere you look, and debris falling from the ceiling when you turn on the 'starry sky' light – I honestly don't know what to say. Then there's the service; it feels like there's barely any service at all. For example, regarding the hot spring tickets included in the package, shouldn't you remind guests beforehand to bring their own swimsuits? (Mine cost over 300 yuan!) And for the volcano tickets, shouldn't you confirm guest information and redeem them in advance? (When I was ready to leave and went to the front desk for the tickets, they told me to buy them on the spot, then I had to provide my ID again and go to another ticket office to exchange them. This whole process took a good half hour!) I can accept your high prices, but at the very least, your service and hygiene should match. I hope you see this review and make improvements. Don't disappoint customers who've traveled so far to get here!

GGuest UserIm impressed by Atour group of hotels. This one located in Ulanqab didnt disappoint either. Its amentities, decor, cleanliness, service, bed, pillow and facilities are all top notch for a fraction of the price. It really puts Western hotel brands to shame. Almost anything that you could think of, Atour hotel has probably though of it already. They even provide alcohol wipes for sanitary purposes. There is even free self service laundry.
Do yourself a favour, when you travel in China, skip the big western hotels and give Atour a go. You will be so spoilt that you wished other hotels has such service and amenities. Im only saying this because i booked Atour hotels by chance a few years back and now that I am back traveling in China, they are even better than before.
Its also nearby the high speed rail station, so its convenient as well.

GGuest UserThe room facilities and services were excellent. It was too cold to use the outdoor hot springs, but having a bathtub inside was a great alternative. The room offered direct views of Volcanoes No. 6 and 5 in Ulan Hada, which was fantastic! The only downside was the lack of dining options nearby; we had no choice but to eat at the guesthouse. 😭 After looking at the menu, for a family of four, it was incredibly expensive, and nothing appealed to us. We tried to pick something cheap, like braised beef noodles, but it turned out to be instant noodles! 😮💨 Luckily, we brought our own instant noodles, which saved us for a meal. 😮💨 To anyone planning to stay around Ulan Hada, I highly recommend bringing your own food, otherwise, be prepared to pay triple the price for meals! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

GGuest UserAlthough school has started, I still took my children to this B&B recommended by a friend. The location is easy to find and parking is convenient. When I parked my car and saw the B&B, I immediately felt that I had chosen the right place. The retro green exterior wall was eye-catching and my favorite color. I called the owner’s sister before entering. She greeted us enthusiastically and helped us as soon as we parked at the door. We took our luggage and took us all the way to the room. The overall style of the small courtyard makes people feel warm and comfortable. There are dogs, cats and rabbits in the courtyard, which are so cute. Because it was just me and my child, we only chose the double room. The room was also super clean and hygienic, especially the quality of the bedsheets. It was amazing! ! The courtyard of the B&B is relatively large, and there are independent courtyards for spring, summer, autumn and winter. The names are also quite distinctive. The interesting slogans are full of literature and art. The small details are particularly in place. It can be seen that the owner has paid attention to it. The courtyard has a library, a terrace slide, a bonfire at night, and fireworks. The Mongolian songs are so beautiful. What’s more, the kitchen is open and very clean, and I also like the food. I tasted the Mongolian milk tea, which was salty and delicious, and the grilled lamb chops, which were charred and fragrant. It is very close to the volcano, and the surrounding scenery is also beautiful. However, our time out this time was short and we did not stay enough. Next time, come and experience the blue sky of the grassland, the white clouds of the grassland, the wind blowing in the grassland, see the cattle and sheep in the grassland, and the enthusiasm of the grassland people! ! !

✨ Environment: The architectural style is very distinctive, the atmosphere is directly full when the lights are on in the evening, and there is a billiard table.

GGuest UserTraveling during the off-season in winter, the hotel is located right inside the scenic area, with a driving road right next to it. The hotel is large, with spacious corridors and large rooms, and all necessary toiletries are provided. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, ensuring good privacy. There are motion-activated nightlights throughout the room, which is very safe. I must say, the hairdryer dries hair very quickly and is excellent. The hotel is quite new, and there's even a children's play area on the first floor. We set off fireworks outside the hotel. The hotel breakfast offers a variety of local specialties, including shumai, steamed buns, milk tea, yogurt, boiled eggs, fried rice, fries, fruit, and a vegetable salad. You'll definitely be full.

The hot spring pools and restaurant offer direct views of the volcanic grasslands, providing a vast and tranquil panorama. At night, the bonfire crackles under a brilliant starry sky. The room facilities are new and well-equipped, the bedding is comfortable, and the cleanliness of every corner is impeccable with no unpleasant odors. Both the hot spring area and guest rooms are very well-maintained. There are also outdoor hot spring pools available. The front desk service is warm and professional; staff proactively guided us and helped with our luggage all the way to our room. Manager Duan at the front desk was excellent, promptly addressing any needs we had. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, served beautifully in individual portions. It includes authentic Mongolian milk tea and shao mai, fresh fruit, and freshly made yogurt pancakes by Auntie Xin. The combination of hot springs and a modern hotel offers a perfect experience. It's an ideal choice for a trip to the Ulan Hada Volcanoes – definitely worth trying!
