Mountain View Hotels in Ulanqab

Great location just under 10-minute drive away from the Volcanoes Park North entrance. We arrived very late and the owner kept the restaurant open to make us some dinner. The breakfast was very tasty with several local specialties like meat buns, yoghurt pancakes, and their own free-range chicken eggs. It all appealed even to our Westerner taste buds! Our favorite breakfast of the trip! The property is not large, but it is very tidy and clean with a courtyard, lawn, paved walkways and lounging areas. The room was exceptionally clean as well - clean floors, clean bathroom and clean white sheets (which is not always a guarantee...). We had a spacious 2-storey loft which our kids enjoyed. Of note - the stairs are very steep to the loft. The beds were quite hard (something we have already come to expect in China), so we used one of the comforters as extra padding. While it was nearly +25 degrees outside, the air conditioning worked great. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend!

Although school has started, I still took my children to this B&B recommended by a friend. The location is easy to find and parking is convenient. When I parked my car and saw the B&B, I immediately felt that I had chosen the right place. The retro green exterior wall was eye-catching and my favorite color. I called the owner’s sister before entering. She greeted us enthusiastically and helped us as soon as we parked at the door. We took our luggage and took us all the way to the room. The overall style of the small courtyard makes people feel warm and comfortable. There are dogs, cats and rabbits in the courtyard, which are so cute. Because it was just me and my child, we only chose the double room. The room was also super clean and hygienic, especially the quality of the bedsheets. It was amazing! ! The courtyard of the B&B is relatively large, and there are independent courtyards for spring, summer, autumn and winter. The names are also quite distinctive. The interesting slogans are full of literature and art. The small details are particularly in place. It can be seen that the owner has paid attention to it. The courtyard has a library, a terrace slide, a bonfire at night, and fireworks. The Mongolian songs are so beautiful. What’s more, the kitchen is open and very clean, and I also like the food. I tasted the Mongolian milk tea, which was salty and delicious, and the grilled lamb chops, which were charred and fragrant. It is very close to the volcano, and the surrounding scenery is also beautiful. However, our time out this time was short and we did not stay enough. Next time, come and experience the blue sky of the grassland, the white clouds of the grassland, the wind blowing in the grassland, see the cattle and sheep in the grassland, and the enthusiasm of the grassland people! ! !

The room was new, and there were many restaurants nearby, so it wasn't as remote as I had imagined. The location is about a ten-minute drive from the volcano scenic area. The volcano gets very crowded during the National Day holiday, so I highly recommend staying here if you're driving. The breakfast selection is plentiful, and there's no traffic congestion at all after breakfast on your way to the scenic area.

The family suite booked should be considered a quite good hotel in this place. There are charging parking spaces, smart toilets, and mainly laundry. Although the breakfast is almost meaningless, the overall is very satisfactory. It is not far from the night of Ulanqab. The night of Ulanqab is really worth a visit. The price is too affordable.

This stay far exceeded my expectations. From the lobby's fragrance to the smart room controls, everything exuded understated elegance. The bedding was high-thread-count, incredibly soft against the skin, and I slept soundly through the night. I especially must commend the view from the window; the moment I drew back the curtains in the morning, the entire city was bathed in its waking light – the tranquil, healing feeling was priceless. The toiletries were from the white tea series, with a sophisticated and long-lasting fragrance. Upon check-out, the front desk thoughtfully provided warm water and a small gift, demonstrating their attention to detail. The four-star quality delivered a five-star experience, making it my top choice for future trips to Ulanqab.

I was pleasantly surprised; the courtyard was very comfortable. It's very close to the south gate of the volcano, much better than the hotels near the north gate, exceeding my expectations. The food was also delicious, and the hotel is very new. Enjoying the evening breeze was wonderful. I wanted to stay another night, but there were no rooms available.

The room is quiet and the scenery is good, the travel is convenient, the backyard can be parked, and I have stayed many times!

This stay was great! The hotel is in a good location and shopping is super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, spacious and bright, the breakfast on the first floor was delicious, the key was that the parking was free, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the sleep was good. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the overall price is super high, will choose again!

Booked in here by mistake 😂 (i took a train to Shangdu, which is not the same place as Xanadu!! (Its about 4 hours away)… the hotel is gorgeous though; huge, modern rooms and a great breakfast too. Watched a midnight storm through the huge floor to ceiling windows. One of those high end gems you find in China because they have the money to build places such as this. I probably wont come back to Shangdu again (although it does break up the train journey from Hohhot to the real Xanadu) but if i do, its an obvious, top grade option. Lovely staff too, who helped me with my train bookings.
