Property's location is good but property itself has lost its sheen and shine. They have not bothered to upgrade their rooms. They give you a vintage feeling. Amenities they are providing have become obsolete. Even smart tvs are not there in the rooms. Who watches tata sky that too in sd. Can't even watch hd channels. Food is not good at all. They are lacking the variety and providing very basic and average breakfast. Lunch and dinner we had ordered from the kitchen was tasteless. The property itself needs a big upgrade. Natural beauty is there in abundance but stay should be much more comfortable and fooding should be much more sumptuous.

Fair location, good rooms, close to the river ganga, in the market, river seen from the balcony, jeeps are available to reach aarti locations. Laksman jhoola on walking distance, parking is 200m away but hotel person will come to take your luggage, staff is good and cooperative, they call after booking by their own. Overall fair stay. River rafting cite is also closeby.

We went for a family trip and stayed for one night. Very cosy and comfortable room on 1st floor. The room was having a river facing balcony which an added attraction. The restaurant is very good and the staffs are very helpfull. Very prompt service. The only sore point in our stay was that in spite of the hotel being empty they have not allowed us two hours late check out and in the process lost the opportunity of serving us lunch which we have done outside.

It is nice property and place for stay, it is not very near to town but approachable food quality-also good only issue with freshly applied oilpaint on wood ceilings create issue with allergic person like me, but it will reduce hope in amonth. Staff also coopeative. Rooms need arrengments to keep luggage.

Had a very peaceful stay at hgk. From lansdowne to kotdwar, not a single room was available on 25th may. Getting a room in this hotel gave a sense of ultimate relief. All things were perfect. The room was equipped with everything. The tv had cable and wifi connection unlike many other hotels. Fast room service. Delicious food. Thanks for the mini fridge, dental kit, and beverages. Inf-act the two vedic mineral bottles were also for free.

Visited March 2024 for 4 days. Excellent location, helpful staff. Spa service and room service are good, however, for the light sleeper place can be noisy.
