Authentic and minimalist. The staff are warm and welcoming, they will describe you about the history and activities humbly. They are also very polite and helpful too. The hotel is nestled in the French town part of Pondicherry which is within walking distance to the promenade and the numerous cafés and restraints scattered around. The staff are cordial, the place neat and spacious. The hotel does neither have a parking no area for cars nor facility for drivers. Overall an enjoyable stay.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aura, true to its name, the aura of the place was really good. Friendly staff, and the service was excellent. The location is very decent, with all the amenities nearby, all the tourist places are less than 5 mins from this place. The hotel people also helped us to hire a scooter, which was much more convenient to roam around compared to a car. The restaurant food was tasty. Our overall stay was excellent, safe and satisfying..

Had a wonderful stay! The property is perfectly located and the rooms are beautiful. Only problem could he parking, and it didn’t have a restaurant, but they provide crockery if you order from outside.

The residency is near to railway station. The place is good to stay. Lovely homely experience. People are very cooperative.

We had booked two rooms for two nights stay. The hotel is located near the shopping area and walkable distance to the Aurobindo ashram and the beach. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We could not watch' tv in both the rooms. Problem with the cable connection. Complained about it at the front desk. They tried but couldn't rectify it. veg.restaurant at the ground floor. We did not opt for the complimentary breakfast, so couldn't comment on that. We had lunch and dinner which was good. The property has basement parking for five cars and portico parking for three cars. Plus they have parking facility for twelve cars at a distance of 100 feet from the property. Except for the TV it was a good stay.

A budget stay with decent room and facilities: The stay was in the middle of street with lot of hustle and bustle. They have a parking which is good but its not attached and have to keep it in a place 200m away. The room was good enough but reception service was pathetic. You have to follow up 10 times. Breakfast is served in a closed room where they are frying poori and entire room is locked with smoke. Pros: 1. Good enough for a 1 day stay with good options for breakfast 2. AC was working 3. 4-bed room was very big with 2 bathrooms Cons: 1. Reception and front-desk service 2. No kitchen present 3. Breakfast area is pathetic

The hotel scores only for its location. Classic rooms are small with ergonomic issues. Rooms have started showing their age. However, the most disappointing is the breakfast. Forget spread, even refill takes time. Severely mismanaged - understaffed, no bowls present for taking liquid items have to keep asking staff multiple times. And they will keep only one jug of fruit juice - causing mayhem and rush among-st guests. And after 3-4 jugs they replace it with canned juice.

Good stay near the beach was very comfortable with the service. Room was convenient and it was near the beach
