Had such a great stay at the garage, super scenic spot. The room was just perfect and it was quite a treat to arrive to fresh baked banana bread and chocolate cake the day we arrived. The owner was very accommodating and there to answer any questions. My boys, ages 11 and 13 were able to explore the property up to the waterfall behind the home which was an extra special treat. Especially when her dogs followed us along the trail I think that made their day. We even got to take advantage of the hot tub after our day of hiking. Looking back I would have booked 2 nights here as we really loved it and could have easily stayed 2 days and done some of our tours venturing out from there. .

The room environment was comfortable and clean, with a kitchen for cooking. Check-in was convenient, and I most enjoyed the scenery in the surrounding area, which felt like a world unto itself. It allowed us to spend an unforgettable day in Iceland.

The rooms are a few clean, the location is always remote because of the countryside, there are no shops or supermarkets nearby, so you need to bring your own food. But the hotel will provide a very simple breakfast.

The room was clean, the service was good, the breakfast was good, the good choice for a day off, I accidentally broke a glass and didn’t let me compensate. I forgot the power bank and called the hotel to ask and quickly helped find it.

The host was very helpful, sending detailed driving instructions and information about dining and amenities in the area two days before check-in. The property is a 39-minute drive from Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach

Nice accommodation in a farm with 🐏 outside your windows. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. They provided a washing machine and a dryer too. Thank you for making our stay comfortable

The view is excellent, at the foot of a mountain, it should be a cabin to see the aurora, but unfortunately we did not see the aurora in summer. The location is not far from Scoga Falls, Seriyaran Falls and Vic Black Beach, these three attractions can choose from here. The house facilities are very new, the heating is turned on in advance, the Icelanders really don't know how to advertise, and the good house is like a rough house. The housekeeper's English is not good, but the communication is still clear. Other comments are helpful, you can call the password until they answer the phone, if you can't, you can also take a chance on the spot, and you will see the women who clean up the house working nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at North Star Cottages. The cottage was clean and well appointed. We arrived to a warm, snug cabin after a day of walking in the rain, and it had everything we needed for a short one night stay. We were a family of four and we brought food to prepare. The kitchen had everything to cook, eat, and wash up. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Really great place.

I have been in the rain and cannot let others be like me. I rented a car with my friends in Iceland and stayed here for two nights. First night: I arrived at the hotel entrance at 10 o'clock in the evening and found that I could not contact the hotel staff. The phone is not answered, the email is not returned, and the email sent by the hotel when I see the reservation is from 4 pm to 9 pm, and it is not waiting for the expiration. Then a very enthusiastic brother made a phone call and opened the room. Second night: Because the room was not enough when booking, the room was not set for two days.
