"This is one of the accommodation options for travelers visiting Andong. It's close to the bus stop in the city and has many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Although it's a motel-style accommodation, quite common in provincial areas, it's well-equipped with amenities such as soap, shampoo, lotion, a hairdryer, even a hair straightener, and a large TV. Impressively, it's very clean; the floors are spotless and the room doesn't have a musty smell, although I was a little surprised because the booking stated that smoking was allowed. The hotel doesn't offer luggage storage, so it's not recommended if you need to leave your luggage before or after check-out."

ONE OF THE BEST PLACES WE HAVE EVER STAYED.
The owner was very friendly and helpful; even gave us a lift to the historical town which was a 10 mins drive. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious!
The building was originally built in the 1500s yet felt modern and cozy!!!

GGuest UserLocated in downtown Andong, it's incredibly convenient for getting around. I had a comfortable stay in a hanok that had a traditional Andong feel, yet was clean and modern, with beds, sofas, and other amenities. Other amenities, like a water purifier and sink, made my stay feel as comfortable as home. This is the kind of place I'd definitely return to next time I visit Andong. I'm also incredibly grateful to the owner for his thoughtful consideration.

Facilities: special new style, clothes deodorization, dust cabinet... This is the only one equipped among all hotels so far.
Hygiene: Nothing to say - super thumbs up👍👍
Service: The waiter at the front desk - the service attitude was average. She got the room type I ordered wrong. Whether it was intentional or unintentional - I don't know - she changed the room at my request🥵🥵. The attitude of the front desk waiter the next day - Very friendly and polite - to be fair it varies from person to person.
Hotel environment: It is relatively remote. There are few entertainment and dining facilities around, and public transportation is inconvenient. If you are not driving by yourself~

MMJ_StijlGoing to Andong for the first time was impromptu, and the approximate location of Byungshan Seowon and Hahuyi village location, this hotel was the best with the modern facilities. It's a new development area with several restaurants, a supermarket and a cafe nearby. The staffs were kind too.

Besides that, stay was comfortable, and the massage chair in the room was a welcome feature.
The clothing steamer leaked water onto the floor, which might be something that needs to be fixed.

RRob87Gotaya Guesthouse thrives on the community of its guests. The information we received from other guests and volunteers was incredibly helpful in making the most of our short stay in Andong.
The guesthouse's cleanliness is average, but of course, it always depends on the guests. The large kitchen offers plenty of options for preparing your own meals. A basic breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, toast, butter, and jam is included. A large supermarket is within walking distance for self-catering. Drinks and snacks can also be purchased at the guesthouse at reasonable prices.
Our small twin room was of average cleanliness and otherwise as pictured. The smaller spring mattress was rock hard, while the larger one was more comfortable. The twin room shares the spacious bathroom with the men's dorm. It's a plus that the shower is far away from the toilet, so the entire bathroom doesn't get flooded when you shower. The washing machine is free to use. There's a covered terrace where you can relax and chat with other guests.
Free parking is available in front of the building along the street.
