We stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations. Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless. The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. This B&B I stayed in during my visit to Jiuhua Mountain was a pleasant surprise. The price/performance ratio was very high. The yard was beautifully decorated. From the small details, you can see that the store owner was very attentive to the environment. It made me feel comfortable physically and mentally. I loved it! The room was big and quiet, and it was also close to the Jiuhua Mountain service area. It is a must-stay when you go to Jiuhua Mountain!

The B&B is located by the mountains and lakes, with a beautiful environment and is very quiet. The meals are delicious and reasonably priced. The housekeeper has a very good service attitude. She assisted us with the luggage and introduced us to the precautions for burning incense and worshipping Buddha in Jiuhua Mountain. She was very considerate. The room was clean and hygienic, with plenty of hot water. You can watch movies in the lobby, which is very warm

This is probably the most upscale hotel in Jiuhua Mountain. I noticed they also host various large-scale corporate events. It's not located on the mountain within the scenic area, so it's more suitable for guests with a car. The hot spring experience was decent; the outdoor pools were more comfortable than the indoor ones, and the sauna got me a good sweat. My only minor complaint is that for a two-night stay, they didn't provide fresh bathrobes on the second day. The restaurant food was quite good, better than what you find outside, especially the noodle soup – I was very satisfied. The ambiance is also great, and the garden and lawn at the entrance are perfect for relaxing. Recommended!

The hotel environment is exceptionally good. The rooms are clean and tidy, with warm color schemes that look very comfortable. You can even see the scenery of Mount Jiuhua from the hotel! The owner and staff are very enthusiastic and provide excellent service, explaining the best routes for a pilgrimage to Mount Jiuhua to every guest. The hotel's breakfast is also quite delicious, with a good variety of food.

I chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent. However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there. While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled. The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions. Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience. I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking. I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

Facilities: Fully equipped; you can just bring your bags and move right in. ❤️ Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and tidy. 👍 Environment: Located in a bustling commercial district, parking and shopping are incredibly convenient. It's in an area with a good concentration of hotels. Service: The staff are incredibly warm and attentive. ✌️ Their service is consistently outstanding, as always.

The accommodation was great, and if you're driving, parking is incredibly convenient. We arrived by high-speed train, and the hotel arranged a pick-up for us directly from the scenic area's entrance. On our departure day, we could leave our luggage at the front desk. Later, after we came down from the mountain, a simple call to the hotel was enough, and they sent staff to deliver our luggage to us. Highly recommended.

Nice and cosy hotel, very friendly owners, support me for booking bus ticket for mountain journey. All very clean and close to local attractions. This hotel will be a very good choice to every time - when I return to Jiuhuashan, I will choose again!

When I selected this hotel online, I saw reviews saying the environment was good but the facilities were old. After moving in, I found the service and sanitation were up to my expectations. It was very comfortable. The scenery in the garden was pleasant. There was a car available for transportation at any time. The housekeeper, Ms. Lei Lei, was always online and helped with issues with storing Chinese medicine and sending a car to the visitor center. The stay was excellent. I'll definitely stay here on my next trip to Jiuhua Mountain.
