I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is exceptionally clean, with every detail carefully maintained. Beautifully restored heritage building in the center of old Riga. The classic feature of the original architecture have been preserved and complimented with a modern interior design with clean Nordic style. Rooms have a foldout sofa bed, great for families. Breakfast is simple but high quality ingredients and attentive staff. Recommend the fresh croissants and salmon and raspberry smoothies. Location in center of old town on a charming street just close enough to great restaurants and bars but quiet enough to get a good sleep.

I felt very comfortable here! The laundry is overpriced and that’s my only complaint. People just need to wash their clothes together in a machine and be done with it lol. It shouldn’t be priced per item. I think it’s a little ridiculous. Besides that, the room was quite big and the bed was great. It was very quiet.  I did not like the slight delay in the door locking after u leave. I ended up standing outside my room making sure the outdated system locked the door properly.

An extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . . Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available. The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was. Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.

Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

I stayed in this hotel during 3 or 4 my visits to Riga. Everything is great and price is always very affordable. Good location, you are close to everything. Great gym I really have one issue - swimming pool and spa will be free only if you book superior room or higher level. It will be better to mention this before booking but not during checking the spa

I had a very good experience staying at this hotel. The location is great, with tram and bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around the city. Taxis were also very easy to find whenever needed. The room was comfortable and clean, and the overall stay felt smooth and hassle-free. A good option if you want convenient transport access and a comfortable stay in Riga.

The hotel was in an excellent location only 5mins walk from the bus to and from the airport and central for the old town. Hotel staff and reception welcoming. Our room very clean spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and the room very cosy. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

The hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on. We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later. There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.

Located on the outer part of the old town, Wellton Centrum Hotel is the perfect location for those wanting to explore Riga’s old town. It’s clean and has wonderful facilities. The staff are helpful and can also support with ordering taxis if necessary.
