4-Star Hotels in Urban

The location is at the quiet side if the Stone Town. Due to it is situated inside a small alley, the directions could be quite complicated and we were lost several times to head back to the hotel. Despite being assured that it's safe, we were tapped by few mischievous children when we passed by a school near the hotel. That said, the room and hotel itself was great. We particularly enjoyed the breeze at the open air loft, where we could view the sea and ships from far away. It was indeed relaxing. The historical bed and bath in the room made the experience so unique. The only downside was there was insufficient of hot water for the bath. The breakfast wise was in fact the best we had in Tanzania, not to mention the impeccable hospitality provided by the staff there. Special shout out to the helpful staff who assisted us with our luggage during check in and out. Bear in mind on the steep staircase up to the room and inside the room to the loft. It might not be suitable for those who have knee problem, as you literally need to climb up and down everytime to the washroom. Otherwise, it was quite a memorable stay.

This is an amazing place to stay right in the heart of Stone town . Location is really nice , you can walking around the city. The owner is such a pleasant person, he helped us throughout our stay and Chinese food was really great .

The hotel is built on an old house. To be fair, it is very unique. Some corners of the hotel are very photogenic during the day, but the shortcomings are also obvious. First of all, the lighting in the house is insufficient, especially at night, the overall feeling is very old under the dim light, and it does not look clean and hygienic enough. However, considering the price, it is still relatively cost-effective.

Advantages: Hotel located at the port which allows you to explore the entire old town on foot. The room is nice and spacious and the bathroom was generally clean. The staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is pretty good (especially the egg menu items) and the one dinner we had there was excellent. The view from the rooftop is magnificent. Disadvantages: The neighborhood is very noisy and the room (303) was under the rooftop restaurant so there was a lot of noise until at least 11pm and from 6am in the morning. Even though the bathroom was clean we found 2 cockroaches.

Pleasant hotel with very friendly staff. Located near the night market in Stown Town. To be recommended

Bueno ubicación está en pleno centro de stone town, los de recepción muy majos y siempre dispuesto a ayudar y facilitar tu estancia pero es un poco viejo y bueno para estar de paso en stone town está bien no recomendaría para larga estancia.
